Hi Ladies

What time normally do you bathe the baby ? I bathe him in the evening before bedtime and then feed him. I was wondering if that's OK.

Quoting Seema:

Thanks. But do you also give solids after bath ? I just find it very messy.

No I dont give solids after the bath! We have only just started solids so I usually give her some solids before her bath around 5 or in the morning depending on what we are doing. But never after her bath I like her to be nice and clean for bed!

we give my almost 6 months daughter ricer cereal & a bottle before bath just because it is messy. We started out giving her bottle the after her bath for about 3 months, but she started falling asleep & not take the whole thing then wake up screaming cause she was hungry so we had to reverse the order. My 4yr old we bathed then fed, but every baby is different. it's ok to do either just try & see which one works best for baby & you. HTH & good luck:)

My son's just starting on solids, so he's only getting one meal a day, in the morning. Even after we've increased to 3 meals though, I don't think I'd give solids before bed (probably morning, lunch, and supper time). We bath Cohen around 7 - 7:30, and he's in bed by 8 - 8:30.

That's what I do. He usually falls asleep during his night time bottle, so I'd have to wake him up to bath him otherwise. I think bath-bottle-bed works great!
