While ironing my daughter's dress this morning, with my hair straightener I was thinking to myself....Do any other Moms out there do this? I wouldn't expect so but maybe they do!
It works great, especially for little bows and spaghetti straps or the hem of dresses, shirts or shorts that turn up in the dryer!
Does anyone use any other common household items for a great purpose but not for what it is meant?
I am so curious!!

Thanks great idea. I hate getting out the iron for a single or small job. I use baby wipes to clean spots off clothing and furniture. I also use those plastic lined travel type packing bags for diaper bags or change of spare clothes in case I have some wet clothes.

oh wow thats a great idea of using a hair straightener especially if you are in a rush. umm the only thing i can come up with, is I used an old toothbrush to clean around my taps.

ive heard of ladies using the iron to straighten there hair ive never tried it tho
