I was due December 19/08 and my lil peanut was born Nov 26 via emerg c-section. She was perfectly healthy and is still the perfect baby... My concern is this... she is not coeing... she does smile here and there but quite random. My cousin had her son Dec 8th and he is coeing and smiling all the time. So does being born early cause term to be a lil delayed?

They also say that it is not good to compare your children at this age. The reason is because all babies develop different especially those who are early.

I read in "what to expect: the first year" that early babies tend to have later milestones, they reach them around the time that they should have if they were born on time. So if your baby was born on time, she should just be starting to smile and coe soon. :D
