hi my daughter is 7 months old and currently loves thin slices of avacado, mashed sweet potato, sushi with tempura shrimp, sunchips, tomatoes with a bit of salt on them, green peppers and those wheat puff things.

I've also introduced her to grilled chicken, every fruit I can think of but kiwi and banana, grilled salmon, garlic bread and basically whatever else we eat.

I've been avoiding dairy though as allergies run in my side of the family and I don't want to deal w/ the mucus.

also some websites are cowandgate.com and also hipp organics website and tinytums.com all have their own baby foods to buy premade but also give you the repice to make yourself at home it has helped me to give my little one a nice variety of tastes when it comes to feeding you could also google annabel karmel as she has some good meal ideas

Try this site n get more info, recipes, n knowledge for baby solid food.

I'm not really into books for reference, cos some recipes are rather too adventurous for me to use it on my little one. This is the one n only site i've been referring till now, that's filled with loads of info that i need n acquire.

There is a book online called Blender Baby Foods. I love it. Suggestions galore and easy to do them. I have used it so many times and my 2 year old still eats some of the recipes, just not blended anymore.

Anything really! With the exception of the obvious - egg whites, cows milk and high allergen foods. Any fruit and veggie is fine, try all kinds, mango, peas, carrots, squash, beans, avacado, potato, yams, my LO loves apple, cantaloupe, banana. She also loves to gum on anything cold, cucumber, apple, she was going to town on a yellow pepper tonight. If he doesn't seem to like something, don't push it, just try offering it to him again the next week or so.

I have recently given my daughter some fruits and veggies. I just steam the veggies and mash everything up. We also have given her some hard breads and some of those gerber puffs. We really try to give her a taste of everything that we are eating. I hope this helps.

I let my 6 month old try all kinds of things. His pediatrician said that we can basically feed him whatever we want now, within reason of course, and just to make sure it is small enough that he can't choke on it. She also suggested that we stay away from peanut butter for a few more months. Just try different things and if he isn't ready for it then it will come back up and hopefully you won't wear it.
