I have a 2 1/2 boy, a 1 1/2 girl and a 7 week girl. My older kids are constantly screaming, either because of frustration, or just because of nothing. This has been going on for a while, even way before the new baby arrived. How do I stop this? I have tried spanking, time out, NO to the face. Thanks

my boyfriend says duct tape...but what we do is we have a no screaming zone (which is everywhere but her room) my boyfriend (who isnt her dad) has started screaming (not loud but more mocking her) and saying "see how silly you look/sound?" it works great for whining/crying as well

Crickey you really do have a busy house hold with so many children under three! The only way I can think of is to structure there day as much as you can. Set times for noisey play and times for quiet relax wind down times where they draw or paint or read a book with mum. If you make time for this in the day they will learn when it is alright to make alot of noise and when it is not.
Every child needs to let off steam at some point and until they are old enough to realise that mum needs quiet time to then I am afraid you are stuck with it for a while.
