My doctor said to wait 2 years, but I think that is only if you want to go the VBAC route. I've known people that have gotten pregnant when their baby is 2 months. The only problem that could result with pregnancy quicly after a c-section is the fact that the uterus grows so quickly, stretching the incision before it has had time to develop thick scar tissue, but I think as long as you are closely supervised by your doctor, and didn't mind having another c-section, you should be fine!

My doctor told us to wait until Wes was AT LEAST 15 months to get pregnant again, if we wanted to try a vaginal delivery next time ... but I am not sure if you aren't planning to try natural next time ... gotta make sure that scar heals completely, so it doesn't tear during your stretching belly!
ps - I can't even think about having another baby. Good on ya for being ready to do it all again!

hi, i had my second child 18 months after my c-section and everything was fine. i was even able to have a natural birth the only thing different was that i had more supervision during labour as the scare can tear. As long as you have no problems with your scare i would think everything would be fine.
