My "not so little" guy is 15 months, weights 30 lbs, is 34 inches tall and has 13 teeth, with 14, 15 & 16 all coming in right now.

WOW!!! My lil Emma Paige has all of her teeth, of course not her wisdom teeth, but man, I swear my kids come out grown already, first was 10lbs even then the 2nd was 10lbs 3 ozs. They boith got their first teeth around the 3months area.

my little girl hayden is 14 months and has 9 teeth but i wouldnt be worried at all about teeth i had a friend that there kid didnt get any teeth untill 15 months they will come when they r ready

my 14 momth old boy has 6 teeth but hes been havin trouble gettin his other bottom ones hes got 4 on top and only 2 on bottom i heard that the longer it takes teeth to come threw the better the teeth are

Hey Kristia, I didn't know that about it being common premmies having little to no hair and slow on the teeth? That's really interesting, will have to tell my cousin who's worried that her little guy is still quite bald haha. :)

Nathan has only two bottom teeth too... Was she a preemie? The Dr told me it was common in preemies. That and having little to no hair.

Both Skye and Summer have 11 going on 12 teeth. Strange thing though, they got the 4 front ones, top and bottom and have now moved on to molers.

My Little one, Freddie(20,11,2008), has 12 teeth. Front 4 top and bottom, back mouler bottom left (?) back mouler top right-just through and 'k-9' top and bottomn left. But remember every baby is different, some are born with teeth. A friends little girl didnt get any teeth til she was almost 13 months.

My wee fella Kanoa has 7 teeth now, 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom. The top 2 middle ones appeared nearly straight away at 10mths, with the bottom ones following which threw me off - I thought it was supposed to be the other way round. Next thing you know, he has 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom all growing to his left, but none on the right. The top right is only just evening up now, no sign of the bottom one haha... I've worked out that teeth cut the way they want, when they want (but the baltic amber teething necklace has been BRILLIANT)

My son Aaron will be 15 months old on the 17th Feb, he has 8 teeth, 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom, he has had them all since before he turned 1, but no more seem to be popping out yet, he has days where his gums are so swollen but the next day they are fine and still no more teeth, very frustrating.

My daughter has 12 6 on top and 6 on the bottom, but she is cutting 4 more. My niece on the other hand, who is only 7 days younger, only has 4. 2 on top 2 on bottom

Rayden started having his teeth early. He is 14 months now and has 11 teeth in total (3 bottom front, 8 top: 6 front, 2 molars). His face is wet almost all the time, whether it's runny nose or drool. Oh, and he bites...hard! It just seems like his "irritable phase" comes very frequently, and we all know more teeth are coming. I haven't done any studies or asked the doctor what's normal; I just figured that every child is different.

My son, Ace, is 14 months old and only has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom! He's always been a HUGE drooler so we don't even use that as a sign of teething anymore! He cut his last tooth nearly 8 months ago! I figure he'll get them all eventually and that I should just enjoy the break from the Orajel! Good luck to you and Emma!

My son Peyton is almost 15 months old and he has 7 teeth. Three on the bottom and four on the top. I think every kid is different to when they get teeth. I know children younger than Peyton that have more teeth.

My (now 15 month old) has 15 teeth, the eye teeth are breaking through now. Early teeth run in the family though, some babies don't sprout a tooth until 18 months so 2 teeth at this age is fine.

I am wondering the same thing! Sam has 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. He got all of these pretty much back to back at around 9 months, and now NOTHING since. It seems like he has been teething for months and I am expecting to see more, but when I check there is NOTHING new happening! Not even swollen gums! Sorry that my post isn't more helpful, except to tell you that I'm in the same boat!

My son has 6 teeth with 4 more on the way. From what I've heard, the later the teeth come in, the better the teeth will be- so consider it a good thing!

My Little girl is 14 Months she has in total 12 teeth 6 top 6 bottom she cut her first tooth at 4 Months I know when she is about to cut a tooth she gets a servere cold everytime a tooth cuts and as soon as it pops through the cold goes straight away her older cousin is 16 Months and she only has 3 teeth I don't think you should be worried your babys teeth will come through when they are ready

My daughter is also 14 months and has about 6 teeth (4 top and 2 bottom). They have been coming in SO slowly. The first 4 (2 up, 2 down) were bunched together when she was about 10 months old. The next 2 uppers came several months later. And now we're just waiting on more to show up. But I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about.

hi ya michelle my jamie has sixteen teeth but every child is different my first son adam got his first tooth at four months then he got one after the other,ben only got his first at eight months and he suffered terrible he is two now and he has the same amount as jamie sixteen jamie got his first tooth at four months also.they are all different they say the later the child gets there teeth the stronger they will be.i wouldnt worry about emma only having a few teeth before you know it she will have a mouth full.x

Mine has 12 and I think there are m ore on the way... but babies do things, including teething, on their own time.. if her Dr isn't worried.... And it sounds like she's getting more anyway! Drooling and nasty nose are definitely signs.

My Ava has the 2 teeth at the bottom, but she also has four teeth up top. The four top teeth all came in at the same time. I wouldn't be worried if I were you. All kids develop differently and at different times, which appears to be evident in the other Moms' responses. Based on Emma's non-stop drooling and runny nose, I'd say you will most likely see some teeth pop up within the next month or two.

My daughter, Shayla is 14 months old and she has 12 teeth now and a few more trying to come in. She started getting teeth around 4 months and it has seemed to not stop since then. She does not get the runny nose and drooling but she gets earaches. Hang in there, her teeth will come in when they are ready. :)

I have heard that allllll babies are definitely different with teething. My son was an early teether (he's 15 months and has 12 teeth - including his front molars), but I have a friend who's baby was born the day before mine, and he didn't get ANY teeth until he was a year old. He is also 15 months and only has the same 2 that he got for his birthday. She asked the doctor about it, and he said not to worry. He'll catch up! (and lookout when he does!)

You can always talk to your doctor or dentist too, if you are concerned. They will check her out to make sure there aren't any problems. (I think you are lucky... you can put off the "biting everything in site!" phase until she's old enough to understand "no bite!")

my son has been teething since 3 months. his first tooth actually broke thru on easter. hes 14 and a half months now and tooth # 13 and 14 are about to break thru. i was worried about my sons teeth growing too fast and not having enough room in his mouth for all of them. but my dr. said that every baby is different some babies are born with 4 teeth and some dont get thier first 4 teeth till thier a year old. i guess talk to your dr. to put your mind at ease. when it comes to your childs teeth there isnt much to be done till they are old enough to go to the dentist. good luck i hope i helped

I have being told not too worry. My third baby Samantha is 14 months old too and for ages she only had two teeth, the bottom ones. She got them in August as well and then nothing till about December. She now has 7 teeth, the last 5 coming in the last 6 weeks or so and she was drooling constantly. You might find that Emma has the same experience. So I wouldn't worry, they should start coming out soon.

Jordan was the same. He didnt have any teeth until the day before his first birthday. Then he got the top 4 all at once!!!! He was really good but as I didnt even realise that he was getting them. He had been teething (the drooling, chewing, runny nose and poos) sine he was 4mths old. He is now nearly 15months and still only has 5 teeth. (Just recently got one of the bottom ones) I wouldnt be so worried as long as she's eating fine and seems to be develping every other way. Teeth just take time. And its another sign that they are growing up.

My daughter has 8 teeth, but my nephew didn't start getting teeth until he was 2! Don't worry, all babies grow at their own speed. Try not to compare, I know it's hard, and watch what you wish for. The faster they grow up, the faster they don't need you!

My daughter only has 3. The 2 on the bottom since August and she recently got one on the top. My doctor said not to worry and they're bound to come in eventually, obviously. I was a late teether, too, not getting my first until I was 13 months old, so maybe it's hereditary. Find out when you and her father got teeth. Maybe he got his late and now your daughter is following in his footsteps.

Shane has 8, 4 on the bottom and 4 on the top. He started with 2 on the bottom like Emma has, when he was about 7 months old. The drooling is a good sign that more are on the way soon. I wouldn't worry! :)

my daughter went through the same exact thing she only had her two bottom teeth for months and she finally started to grow the top front four out but it was horrible teething for her, her teeth were purple and bruised and she screamed for hours. i reccommend teething pills they dissolve in the baby's mouth they sell them at walgreens etc. and orajel along with motrin if u have the same situation

Both my sons were later at getting their teeth. My second son still has only his two bottom front teeth, which he got at 12 months. My first got his first teeth at 12 months also. And, by the time he was 3, he had all but a couple teeth, which the dentist said not to worry and that every child develops differently.

Lil' Megan has 10-- 4 are on top and 6 are on bottom and she hates brushing them, lol! One of my friends told me that when babies teethe that they can have either more or loose bowels and I didn't believe it until the last 2 teeth came in that that had happened with her. She also got the worst diaper rash out of my 2 kids that they have ever had (even though I would change her and apply cream as soon as I was aware). She's fine now...healthy and all. She got her first tooth when she was 4 months old and I still breastfeed her. Oh, and someone recommended to me "Sophie, the Giraffe" which is some sort of a teether/stuffed animal thing for babies and I haven't found it anywhere yet, but apparently it's in the stores.

My little man has 10 teeth also. He has the 4 in front on the top and just got 2 molars on top and then has 4 in the front on the bottom. He hasn't gotten any bottom molars yet but I think they may be coming because he has been miserable the last few days! My son also always gets a runny nose then ends up with an ear infection when he is teething. I wouldn't worry too much about how many teeth your 14 month old should have. I bet all her teeth come in at one time!

My 14 month old has 5 teeth. Three on top and two on the bottom. She didn't cut any teeth untill after she was 12 months. She sprouted all 5 with in one month. Since then we haven't seen any more. Hi Michelle.... no need to worry about how many teeth your 14 month old has.... mine is 15 months and this is when his gum is showing signs of the top two teeth coming out..... some kids are just laggards when it comes to teething.... and any other development for that matter.....
