My little girl was born at 7lbs 4oz and she came out of hospital at 6lbs 14ozs at ten weeks she weighed 10lbs 12ozs but not had her weighed for 2 weeks, how often do you get your child weighed and how much do they weigh now?? xx

i think i might have the baby with one of the biggest birth weights in here :P Emma was born nov 25th and weighed 10lbs 1oz and was 21 inches long. she is now about 2 month and a half and weighs 12lbs 5oz and is 24 inches long!

Kara was born on Nov. 12, 2008.. 7 lbs 14.6 oz 20 inches long
3 days later when we left the hospital she was 7 lbs 4 oz or so...
She is now 3 months and about 13 lbs.. :)

Mine was born Nov.4th. She was 7lbs, 7oz at birth. She was 10lbs 3oz at her appt in January.

my son was born 27 nov weighing 7lbs 9oz, a week later he had gained 3/4 pound. at 8 weeks he was over 14lbs

my little girl violet was born 3 weeks early on the 23rd november and she was 9 pound 3 born but she lost loads due to being ill now shes back up to 11 pound x

Brooklynn was 7lbs 14oz on Nov 8 and now she is 12lbs 14oz. She is defintely a healthy baby girl as far as her weight goes.

My son weighed 3.3kg (or 7.2 lbs) at birth. He lost a few ozs durring our stay in hospital but I was told that this is normal since they poo and it is a stressful time for them. He was weighed again at his first doctor visit at 4 weeks and again at 8 weeks when he went for vaccination and again at 12 weeks, also for vaccination. At 12 weeks he weighed 6.4kg (14.1 lbs).
I was told by my dr not to worry about his weight as long as he is feeding well.

When Isaiah was born he was 7lbs 5oz last time he was weighed was his 2month cheak up and he was 11lbs 11oz (that was all most a month ago now)

Meghan weighed 7#1oz at birth and dropped to 6#9oz at 5 days. I was and still am breastfeeding and fortunately I have had a great support system at the Lactation Dept for the hospital. I was going there twice a week for weight checks and help with formula supplements. She was weighed last on 26 Jan and was 9#15oz. She's at the 25%for weight and 50% for height.

Emma was Born on November 11th, 2008 weighing 6lbs and 13oz and on her last check up with our Midwife on January 29th, 2009, she weighed 12lbs 11oz. :)

Jillane was 8lbs 1oz & was 20 1/2in long when born. Left hospital at 7lbs 10oz and at her check up last week she weighed 12lbs 7oz and 24 1/2 in.

Haylee was 57.5 cm long with a big head of 37 cm LOL> I was told this was completely normal as both myself and my bf have fairly large heads.

my little girl emily was born on 29 november at 35 weks and 5 days she weighed 4lb 1oz and at her 8 week check last week weighed 8lb 4oz doing very well. i try to get her weighed every 2 weeks but have been told by the doctor once a month is ok.

Noah was born on Nov 10 and weighted 7lbs 8oz and was 20.5 inches. He is exclusively breastfed and was back up to his birthweight at two weeks. He was weighed at 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and will now be weighed again at 12 weeks. He was 12lbs 9oz at 8 weeks and 23 inches. If you live in ON you can have your baby weighed at an Early Years Centre.

My girl was born on Nov. 19th and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz. At 10 weeks she was 10 lbs. 11 oz. She is completely breastfed.

Adam was born 7.4 lbs as well... He is now at 10 weeks 12 lbs. But, he is also a very long baby and I am very tall. He also eats a lot!!!

My daughter was born at 6.5 lbs and dropped to 5.10
She's now exactly 3 months old and weighs approx 14lbs...
She started gaining all the chub once I stopped breast feeding and put her on formula.

Goodness, my little girl is almost 11 weeks now. When born she weighed 7lb 9oz, she lost 3oz in the first week, and now weighs 13 lb 3oz, and is perfectly along the growth line, so my little chunky monkey is doing well. I only get her weighed every couple of weeks. x

My little boy was born on Nov 12 and weighted 9lbs 1oz. He lost down to 7lbs 14oz on the 17 of Nov. Went for his 2 month check up 1 week ago and he is up to 12 lbs. I can't believe how fast he is growning.

carsen was born nov 12 and weighed 9 lbs 8 oz and when we left the hospital the next day he weighed 8 lbs 15 oz and on jan 12 (his 2 month) he weighed 11 lbs 6 oz now i'm guessing around 12 lbs

Austin was born Nov 13th weighing 11lbs 7.5 oz. Left hospital at 11lbs. He was 13lbs 14oz on Jan 16th (9weeks). We have another appt next week.

Cohen was born Nov 20 at 8 lbs 9 oz (23 inches) and weighed 13 lbs 3 oz at his 8 week appt. I've weighed him at home recently and he's almost 15 lbs now, at 11 weeks! He used to seem like he had such a tiny little head and spindly legs, now he's all chub!!

My daughter was born on November 30th, weighing 8lbs 2oz, She was 7lbs 8oz on December 4th(her doctor wanted to see her a lot), weighed almost 9lbs on dec 15th, weighed a little over 10lbs on Jan 12th and her last appt she weighed 11lbs 1oz. Her doctor said anytime inbetween visits if i wanted to weigh her all i had to do was come on in. I had some weight issues with my oldest and so those fears are still there.

Izzy was 54cm long and her head was 36cm they have said she will be a chunky baby because of her head and length doesnt match her weight yet anyone else been told this? x

My son, Jaxon, was born November 19th weighing 7lbs 14ozs and was 19 1/2in long. We had his 2month checkup 2wks ago (on the 19th of Jan), and he was 12lbs 8ozs and 24 3/4in long...and that was 2wks ago! He's my little piglet! He gained 4lbs 10ozs and grew 5 1/4in in just two months! I want to get a digital scale for home to weigh him in b/w checkups. We won't go back until March, for his 4month checkup!

Rebecca was born November 11. She was 7 lbs 2 oz at birth and was 6 lbs 7 oz when we left the hospital (we were in for 3 days). At her last dr.'s appointment she was 8 lbs 11 oz (not gaining properly). We are back on track now though, I think. I get on the scale with her once a week and now she is 10 lbs 6 oz and we have a week left before her next appointment.

I just step on the scale while holding her and then I weigh myself on my own. It's not as accurate as the doctor's scale but it will give you an idea. :-)

Emily was born November 25 weighing 8 lbs 11oz and at her last check up on January 26th, she weighed 12 lbs 7oz. In between doctor's visit, I just use my scale at home to weigh her.
