My daughter is almost 1. I haven't transitioned her to milk yet, but plan to start that soon. I am worried that she is getting too much formula, but if I don't give it to her she doesn't seem satisfied. She still gets 5 bottles a day, about 30 oz total. I have tried giving her more than 6 ounzes per feeding, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I went to the doctor when Emily was 10 months old and she recommended that I only give Emily 20 oz of formula a day. They said that if I gave her too much formula (over that 20 oz) then she wouldn't eat as much solid food. So now I give her a bottle in the morning when she wakes up 5oz, then a 5oz bottle before her nap and then 9 oz before bed. This has been working for us.

My daughter drinks between 12-15oz of formula a day. She generally won't take more than that. She has one tub of yogurt at least everyday and some cheese either mixed in with her dinner or as a snack. We haven't transitioned to milk yet either but plan so soon.

my daughter is 1 tomorrow and she has 1 bottle of cows milk and 1 bottle of formula per day totalling about 400-440ml/ 14-15oz per day. this is all she will have... up untilll recenty she was having 3 but then dropped off her midday bottle only leaving her wakeing up bottle and her bedtime bottle. i make sure she gets atlest 1 tub of baby yogurt and a snack of cheese a day to keep up her calcium intake. she also eats a wide variety of food. the reccomend at a year they should be having about 2 1/3 cups of milk per day... goodluck :o)
