My son got his first tooth when he was 4 months. My friends baby is 7 months and hasn't gotten a tooth yet. It all depends on the baby. Some are born with a tooth some don't get one until close to their first birthday.

My son is 5 months and is only budding teeth. I can see the shape of them in his gums but there is no tooth breaking through. Some babys don't get teeth untill they are 7 months. If he is near 9 months I would then worry.

my little boy is teething and has been for months, but still no teeth yet, it doesnt make them behind, the longer it takes for his teeth to come through the longer he will have them! :)

I also heard that it's better the longer the teeth stay in, for enamel build up!
I am glad my babe doesn't have teeth, he bites REALLY hard with just his gums!

i have 5 children, my oldest was 3 months when he got his first tooth, my second child was 12 months when she got her first.
this 5th baby had NO signs of teething at all, and out pop'd a tooth last week (5 months old) every baby is different.
the later the get teeth the later they will loose their teeth, which is very good! Little kids cant brush good, so the later they get their adult teeth is good....dentists love that!

All the signs are here but no teeth at all and I can't feel them or see them nothing to worry about, a friend of mine has a baby thats going to be 1 year in May and she does not have a single tooth! My uncle is a dentist and he says it is nothing to worry about, it is a natural process...

Nope, mine has no teeth. He has been gumming everything to death for the last couple months, but no teeth, and no real sign of them yet!

My daughter is 5.5 months and got her first tooth 2 weeks ago and the next one is almost here (if it appears like the first one did then it'll show up in a day or two). Hopefully after that she'll sleep better!

My son will be six months on the 2nd. He has shown all the signs but no teeth. I wouldn't worry about it.

My son is 5 1/2 months old, he drools alot all the time and also chews on everything. They say that those are the signs of teething, and he has been like that since about 3 months. But if i would look at his gums, there are no white bumps or anything that looks as if a tooth is anywhere close to coming through.......And like Kelly said, the older that they get there teeth, the better there teeth will be.......good luck, and happy teething (when the time comes)

My little one actually broke 2 teeth at once at 3 months. But my older daughter did not have her first tooth until she was 10 months old. They say the older the baby is, the better the teeth will be.

My little one started the teething symptoms at around 3 months (drooling, gnawing on fists, hands in his mouth constantly) but no teeth yet! My daughter got her first tooth at 7 months so I think he will probably be the same.

Babies start teething anywhere from 6 to 9 months. Some babies start earlier than 6 months, some don't start teething until 12 months. It all depends on your baby's genetics. Don't worry, my five month old isn't showing any signs of teething yet, either.
