My daughter is 7 months old and she has a lump under her nipple. It has been there for about a month. We have seen the dr. and he said it could be some hormones from when I was pregnant. I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this before and can give me some advice. I'm starting to worry a bit it seems to be getting bigger. Thanks for any help.

my daughter is also 7months and also has the lumps under her nipples, i belive her is hormonal as is varies in size, my suggestion is keep an eye on it take note of the size, trust your instincts, wouldn't be rushing to have biopsy seek another opinion if you are really concerned. Good luck

But if it is a staph infection, I would get a biopsy. My husband had MRSA and that can eventually cause death if left untreated. I might push the doctor to look at it more. Plus if it is MRSA it may actually hurt too. Not to freak you out or anything, but better safe than sorry.

My daughter is four now but around the same age she had a staph infection under her breast. It was a lump but you should tell when it starts to look like a pimple. Also now come to think of it from the day she was born until about a year old she had a lump behind her ear on her neck about the size of a pea and the doc said it would go away and it did, it took a while but today she's a normal, healthy four year old! Hope that helps. Kate
