i ran out of formula recently and gave mackenzie a milk bottle and it was all good she has cheese yoghurt etc so i am thinking about introducing more milk to her daily diet

I've been using that Go and Grow formula. Started about a week ago. Its more milk based than the formula for younger babies. So far only one really interesting diaper, but that may have been a teething thing. Anyway, my Dr. had him eating yogurt and cheese already and that has milk too. He was fine with that. Also I'd been using milk occasionally in his cereal or with his mashed potatos. But now I'll keep a heads up with I make the complete switch to milk in a couple months. Thanks.

I have been giving my son milk for about a week.....i only do it in the afternoon....i mix 6 ounces of formula with 2 ounces of milk...and am just gradually going to put more milk and less formula in his bottles till its all milk.....that way his belly will gradually get more and more cows milk instead of just one day switching from formula to milk.....i know they say to wait till 12 months for milk...but with no food allergies in my family or his dads family i wasn't worried about him having a milk allregy.......

My doctor told me at Sarah's 9 month appointment that I can start her on milk (in a sippy cup). She is breastfeed.

I was also told to wait until Wes was at least 12 months old to even introduce milk. Sounds like other's have done different things though. But definitely slow introductions are better for everyone!

My daughter is 9months and I give her one sippy cup of Whole Milk a day with her lunch, I was told to introdiuce it slowly and then soon start to make her bottle half and half, formula and whold milk.

We were told a year, but Payton has tasted Ice cream and she takes sips of my tea and that has milk in it. Just do it very small doses. You know your baby the best, so go with your instinct.

cow milk? you should wait untill your baby it 12 months old to give it as a replacement to formular or breast milk. But you can use it to cook for your baby now,
