My 10 month old won't eat anything from a spoon!

If she loves puffs, you could feed her those on the spoon so she realizes that she can get really good stuff there. I eat Cherios with Logan most mornings. Some baby food is pretty gross so she may have just gotten something she hated and thinks you'll try to pull one over on her. If I taste his food and don't like it, I don't expect him to have more than a taste. She may just need to have a little "re-programming".

my 11 month old loves her food so its not been a problem for us she eats mainly finger food as shes very independant but i give her a spoon or folk i put some food on it then place on her plate so she can pick it up herself and feed herself she loves it try that x

my son was the same way, so i let him hold a spoon while i fed him. now hes putting the spoon to his mouth by himself.. but, i stopped giving him babyfood when he was 6 months because he didnt seem to like it. that might be whats going on with your daughter, try giving her some home made mashed potatos or pudding, you may be surprised. i think thats the real reason why my son didnt want the spoon after been spoon fed for a couple months. good luck :)

my son tries doing the same thing.. the best thing that we have done is keep him distracted while i am trying to feed him... i give him some spoons to hold and play with and even try to feed himself with.. i also give him some puffs to eat while i feed him and when he grabs the puffs, i get the spoon to the mouth and he eats just fine! other than that it i do give him a lot of finger foods.. cut up grilled cheese, cereal bars, peas and carrots and bananas stuff like that.. when he was still learning to take bites of bigger pieces of things we made sure they were cut up to pieces smaller than his thumb nail so he wouldnt choke!

my 10 month old daughter is exactly the same what she eats now is really what her 2 year old sister eats veg, meat good healthy meals but just with her hands it is messy but as long as shes getting what she needs ,i don't mind. i play games with her while she eats 2 make it fun otherwise she tends 2 drift her attention away from her food onto something else

My daughter does the same thing. So I feed her finger foods. Peas, carrots, corn, diced fruit ect. She also likes Mac and cheese so I've learned to make it from scratch and add a few jars of veggie baby food to the cheese mixture before I bake it. She eats it with her fingers. It's messy but it works.
