My little lad is 1 next week so I thought we can start him on cow milk and finish using good old Aptamil. So far he has probably had about 1oz each time and refuses the rest. Shall I stick with it, if he wants milk surely he will eventually accept what he is being given?? Help

My daughter doesn't like milk either. I spoke with her doctor and she said not to worry about it. They only want them to have milk for the calcium, but they can get that other ways. i.e. cheese, yogurt, calcium fortified juice I have tried strawberry milk too, she did like that somewhat. She also said to continue formula (I only give it before bed) for as long as she will drink it, since it has ALL the vitamins she needs. Most kids will end up not liking the formula taste anymore and naturally switch to milk. It is best if you can get your child to drink the formula out of a sippy cup since the texture of milk is similar. My daughter will only drink formula from a bottle. Been very difficult switching to a sippy. Juice and water are GREAT from the sippy though!

I had the same problem with my son. I switched him to organic milk and he LOVED it. Thats the only milk he drinks now. Try different types of milk, and see which one he likes.

I had the same problem with Jayden but I stuck with it and this morning he drank all of his cows milk!!! The formula milk is alot sweeter than cows milk xxx

We had the same problem and I started by mixing equal amounts of formula and milk and slowly using less and less formula and she will now take the milk
