we make spaghetti sauce with ground beef, the spaghetti sauce can, a can of tomato sauce, a lot of carrots, green peppers, onions. He eats a lot of this sauce and doesn't complain, while if we give him carrots by themselves he doesn't even touch them!

Which is, so far the only thing she takes without complaining!! and I hope she is taking enough...I also started milty vitamins I donno wat else to do and hope its a phase that will end soon.

I cant' believe I have a picky eater, too. She prefers carbs- will eat no meat or veggies, only a few fruits. We put them on her plate each time and try to get her to try it. Her twin sister eats just about anything, so it's really frustrating! Her pickiness started about a year ago, and has just gotten more limited over time. We started giving flintstone vitamins a few months ago, and now I'm starting to find them in her high chair.

I have the same issue with my daughter when it comes to veggies. She will eat fruit all day given a chance but veggies are a no go unless they are mixed in something and even then she picks them out most of the time. The best thing I've tried so far is to keep putting veggies on her plate at every dinner. Just because she isn't eating them now doesn't mean she won't tomorrow. It has worked with a few veggies. She will now eat lettuce, snow peas, and broccoli (peas and carrots if mixed in with homemade mac and cheese). One other thing that helped was her watching us eat the veggies and saying how yummy they were. Good luck .

If your son eats pasta then grate vegetables into a tomato sauce like carrot, courgette or peppers. Try him on dried fruits like raisins or apricots as they have a different texture. Keep trying him on the veg and fruit but in the meantime give him a supplement like ABIDEC which contains all the vitamins and minerals he needs and is available from the chemist. It is completly safe to use from about 6 months and is recommended by health visitors and doctors.

That's weird, hopefully it's just a phase. Have you tried making a smoothie? We mix a bunch of fruit with some vegetables. You can't taste the vegetables at all. Maybe in this form he'd like it? Otherwise maybe try blending up some strawberries and freeze it, like a frozen "ice cream". I would get creative and try to make it into other forms. However once he starts to have a taste for it again i've heard you are supposed to be honest about what your feeding them and not hide it. Have you tried mixing like peas or broccoli into mac and cheese? Or if he eats cereal cut up some bananas or strawberries? You could make some banana bread or mash some ad mix it in oatmeal. What about making ants on a log? It's celeryl with peanut butter and raisins. The peanut butter over powers the celery but its so good! I would just look for creative ways to try to get him to eat them. If you want some more just try searching fun food or fun things to do with vegetables/fruits. Good luck please keep me updated.
