Olivia is still on stage two only because i don't know when to advance her. I give her the gerber graduates puffs and she loves them.she will eat graham crakcer and cheerios. we work on veggies and she will eat the mix of carrots peas and beans but sometimes i notice she packs it in her cheeks like a hamster. kinda funny but when do i know to start to bump her up? Thank goodness for the internet and chats like this since there is still no book on how to.....

We have tried a couple of stage 3 foods with success and others were a BIG fail. She will eat the fruits and veggies but none of the meat ones really. They are just too chunky for her. We are going to just try reall foods cooked really well and see if that works better. She likes the puffs and those Gerber wagon wheel things and graham crackers and cheese.

We have been on stage 3 foods for almost 2 months now. He went really quick from stage 1 through 2, and onto 3. He has a lot of normal table food too - like chicken, hot dog, eggs (although he isn't a fan), a piece of toast for breakfast (and he eats the whole piece). I have a cousin whose friend waited to long to introduce textures to her daughter, then at 2 the little girl still refused to eat most foods. If your little one is chewing, then I think moving up to more "normal" foods is probably completely fine!

I've been giving my little one softer table foods for a month or so now. We tried every kind of stage 3 food, but she dislikes all of them. So I have also skipped these. If your little girl can handle the small vegetables I wouldn't see the harm in trying some stage 3 foods slowly.

I actually skipped the stage 3 baby food and just stared to feed him food that i was eating that i thought was soft enough for him to eat.....like pasta, veggies and potatoes and anything else i was eating...he still gets the graduates puffs and some of there other kinds of crackers, but the stage 3 is soo chunky that i just skipped it and went right to table food......but i think if you read on the jar then it kinda tells you what stage they should be at when you feed it to them....good luck.....
