My son will be a year old on Wed 13th June and only has his two bottom teeth but he is teething badly at the moment so hopefully not too long until there are a few more! I only managed to get him to have half a slice of toast today and he normally loves his food

my daughter is 16 months and only need 3 teeth .. they all pretty much all came in twos, and fast, and suprisingly, she was very easy to deal with through her teething!! but recently ive noticed that on the bottom.. between her canines, she only has 3 teeth .. when there should be 4? ..any ideas or awnsers why it would be that? i was told thats a sigh that her adult teeth could be crooked ...

My son is 18mths and has 12 teeth. The 8 front teeth, a top and bottom molar on each side and I'm pretty sure he has atleast one of his eye teeth on the way through.

I think 20 something baby teeth total. But not all come through at first. Some come later in toddler years. My son is 14 months and he has the top 4 and bottom 4, within the last week he broke all the way through his first set of molars. And now i see his "k-9" teeth coming through... hang in there. on the bright side he'll stop teething at some point and you've already been thorugh the worst part. =)

My son has 8 teeth, 4 top and 4 bottom but we seem to have been in teething hell forever! He is not a good teether! I am convinced he is cutting more at the moment as when it gets really bad we have 3-4 nights of very little sleep. I'm going to try the toothbrush tip (electric) as he recently found his big sister's mini massager and likes it in his mouth???? And the frozen washcloth sounds a good idea. I have been BF-ing since birth but have been trying to give it up for some months now (v tired!) but it seems to help him through the worst of the pain. Not sure if I can continue for another 12 teeth tho lol.

This last week has been hard with so many teeth coming in at the same time! She didn't get her 1st tooth until she was 9 months old.

My little boy Nate will be 14 months old this week, and has 8 teeth with four molars pushing through at once - he's been miserable all weekend, with a fever and upset tummy, and seems his whole little body hurts sometimes! His first teeth only came about two at a time, and he only got a bad diaper rash a couple of times. Can't wait till these are all the way through; so hard to see them hurting!

Number 12 is pushing throught now and 13 & 14 have swolen up and become a hassel!! What do you use to sooth the pain! This is my second child and I used teeJel and Ashton & Parstons powders with my daughter, and my son is now allowing me to give it to him without too much of a fight. He has had fevers that she never got, she got teathing fevers but they were easily controlled ( one dose of Panado / calpol every 8 hours or so) with him I have gone to the extremes of empipeds every 4 hours!!!! (excuse the medication spelling) does anyone else have anyother remidys!!!

My son Andoni is 14 months old on the 14th and has 6 teeth, one a molar that just came in and he has many more coming all at once. He has been waking up screaming in pain many times a night, we are assuming it is because his teeth are hurting him. Any advice out there about how to comfort him other than rocking him back to sleep or using baby oral gel (we would rather not use that).

My girls will be 14 months on the 14th. Marley has 9 teeth fully in and 3 other molars with the points sticking through, just not the whole tooth. Zaine has 12 teeth completely in and her 4 eye-teeth are poking through then disappearing, its a matter of a week or so for them to be through. They started with two bottoms at 6 months and haven't stopped teething since! They are champs though :) Pedi said @ the 12 month check that 4-6 teeth is the average at that point but they have the amount of teeth of an 18-24 month old!

At least you can rest a little easier knowing your baby can chew food better. My first baby did not get her first tooth till she was 18 mo old. I had to take her to the dentist to see what was going on, he said the longest hes ever heard of a baby going wiithout getting their forst tooth was 15 mo. I had to cut food into tiny pieces till she was 3!

8 were fully developed by his birthday, and his top molars just poked through this week. His bottom gums are swollen, so I think they will be starting soon as well.

Oh--and he has already chipped one of the front top ones. He started getting teeth early--when he was still unstable on his feet. I'm convinced now that it is better if they are late teethers :)
