I have been searching for a perfect gift for my son and thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone else is thinking on getting. I have yet to decide.

I'm getting my daughter winter clothes, a push toy and any toy that lights up and makes noise since she loves toys that light up and blink.

I am planning on buying the Step 2 Whisper Ride buggy, I have heard from so many people that it is an awesome gift that the kids love. They also have a cheaper version, the Step 2 Push around Buggy, its basically a little car that you can fasten babies into (one model is 12-24 months and one is 18-36 months, but I'm going to go with the bigger one) it has a little cup holder, a little storage compartment for toys, a steering wheel and a little horn for the baby to beep. It has a long handle so you can push them around for walks. All of the reviews for it are great, and a ton of people I know have purchased (and loved) them. They're sold at Walmart and ToysRUs, along with that I'm probably going to get her some books, clothes, and some Melissa and Doug stuff, I've heard that the Shape Sorters and Pound-A-Peg benches are good, as well.

We bought Wes an Elmo Live (found it with Airmiles, it's so cute), and also a wagon with digging toys in it! I asked for a covered large wagon for him, as well as "building toys" from his grandparents!

Lindy my son has that drum & he loves it!!
I am probably going to get some walking toys, right now my son pushes his high chair around the kitchen. He also Loves cars & trucks, & of course some WINTER clothes, new snowsuit & all - YUCK

That sounds so much like our little one.  We decided on the Thomas the Tank Ride On and the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Lawn Mower.  I would love to get him more but money is tight this year.

So far all his clothes have been second hand or gifts.  You can't beat that.

Baby Einstien!! My 11 month old is glued to the two movies he has now, First words around the house and mozart. These are great educational movies that give me a few minutes to do house work. I am planning on getting more for his b-day, he loves them and learns as well.

I'm thinking about a puppet theater and one of those comfy toddler chairs! He loves the Little Einsteins so I'm also considering the singing "doll" Leo.

we are doing a lot of roll arounds and those type of things, push walkers, clothes of course, cars/trucks (the softer ones). Our little guys bday is exactly one month before Christmas so we will save something for then as well.

i found a john deere push toy! (we are big john deere people). now that he is just starting to walk he loves to push things around (he has a little tiger air plane that has wheels that he pushes EVERYWHERE). so this toy is something he can push around and it has little animals in it he can play with.
