What are your plans for your child's birthday?

November is just around the corner. My son loves the show 'Yo gabba gabba'. So I figured that I am going to throw him a yo gabba gabba themed party. My mom found and bought some really cool yo gabba gabba party supplies. And I am not sure where we are going to have the party yet. I am excited to see his face when he see's his favorite show every where. Let me know what you think.

We're having a Mad Hatter Tea party. My daughter loves Alice in Wonderland and loves bright colors. She has a tea set that she plays with all the time so I thought it would be fun. Plus, most of her friends that she plays with are a between 3-4, so I think it will be fun for all the girls there!

We're going to have a birthday-themed party. I'll make a cake, she'll have presents, we'll sing the happy birthday song, and maybe we'll have a few friends over, since we don't live close enough for family to come visit.

We are going to have the best birthday party ever! Mia's 1st bday was Sesame Street, this year we are doing Yo Gabba Gabba. It's her favorite show!!!

i too have thought about an Elmo themed party, but i have decided to go with a Word World themed party and we will invite close family and friends to our house. When he gets a little older i will have them outside the home in another location...but for now the home is where it is.

well i guess im lucky im in australia and november is beautiful this year we are having chuggington with family and close family and joinning my boys parties as i have another boy turning one at the end of october and tyler will be two at the start of nov not much into it at the moment but sure i will be soon it been a big year

I've decided we will be having a pool party at our local YMCA. I live in kansas and it's usually cold in november. And we don't have enough room in our house for all the family and friends to come. Any ideas for swimming pool party games?

My little man is obsessed with fire trucks, which was also one of his first words..lol! So we are doing a fire truck themed birthday at a fire station. I found someone online that does custom birthday decorations, so that's covered. We are also doing a cupcake tower this year instead of a cake. I know he and his friends will have a BLAST getting to look at and climb inside the fire trucks...I'm even getting all the kids little red fire chief helmets to wear during the party!

We are going to have a monkey theme party for my daughter because she loves anything monkey. We will probably just do something small at home with friends and family. I'm going to set up her toys in an area outside (I live in CA so it's warm still in Nov) and I will set up a coloring table with crayons and paper for the little ones as well as with kid snacks and adult snacks. The last few kid party's we've been to there haven't been any kid appropriate snacks at the party which is very dissapointing.

We also have a little Ball obsessed boy in our house and we're throwing a baseball party (I'm a planner and with #2 due 2 weeks before our first's birthday I wanted to make sure it was all planned before the baby comes) I'm having his cake made to look like a baseball jersey (basically a sheet cake with "sleeves" and pin stripes) and then have our last name on it with a big # 2 as his jersey # since he will be 2. I also plan on having baseball cupcakes since those are cute and easy and making baseball cookies with his name on them for favors. I am going to have fun "take me out to the ballgame" food like burgers and brats and peanuts and cracker jacks. I think he will LOVE it! Ball pit- Great idea Robin!

I love throwing my kids parties and decorating the cakes! They seem to have a lot of fun also. Last year my DS bday party was on a warm november day so we did do alot outside! Hoping that happens again this year! My son loves any kind of ball. He is obsessed, so for several months I've been thinking about a ball party. Maybe I'll include all the sports balls in the cake. Have a ball pit to play in. I've still got a couple months to plan, but I think that's what we will do.

I think I am just going to get a few friends together and go out to eat. I really haven't thought about it since my sons b-day is over 3 months away. I really don't want to deal with the stress of planning a party this year. He won't remember it anyway. At this age the party IMO is really for the parents. His 1st b-day party was a stresser.

We are having a Dora the Explorer themed party at our house; there is a major Dora obsession going on with my DD right now :) I'm going to keep it low key, have her play group over, some of their favorite foods to munch on and I'll most likely order her cake again. My hubby will be out of the country 2 weeks prior to her b-day, I don't think I'll be in the right mind set to make her cake :)
