If I can, I try give my son whatever we are eating whenever I can, but I'm unable, we give him stage 3 foods. He's tried all sorts of things from cheerios, puffs, yogurt puffs, bits of banana, grown up applesauce, mashed potatoes, cooked and mushed broccoli. I want to try to give him some meatballs and ground up meats when possible, because he's a good little 'gummer' of foods. I try to self-feed when possible and do the sippy cup with water or diluted juice in the evenings. He still takes 3-4 bottles a day up to 8ozs.

My son doesnt have any teeth yet but he does NOT let that stop him! He eats steamed veggies, rice, pasta, wheat bread, blueberries, cantaloupe, bananas, avocados, he is burnt out on baby jar food. He still eats baby cereal w/baby jar fruit mixed in but he stopped eating pureed veggies. He has some gummin abilities :) I am a vegetarian, so for now he is too!

my nine month old eats pretty much anything. We started to feed her baby cereal at three months cause she would drink an 8oz bottle every an hour half to two hours. She has four teeth and loves to bite everythiing. She eats table food. She does not like baby food. If we need to feed her baby food we have to make it thicker by putting a veg or fruit with it cause she likes to chew her food and not just swallow it.

My son is going to be 9 months this week and he eats all stage 2 foods, formula, easy to chew gerber graduate snacks, cherrios/kix, and any food that I am eating that he has had in his baby food (but I obviously cut it up really small so that he can chew it without choking).

My girls are 9 months old, but were born a month early. They do not have any teeth yet...so I am just feeding them baby food, fruits/veggies/meats. I have been giving them 3-4 bottles of formula per day with 6oz each and 2-3 servings of baby good 2nd step. I have also tried giving them the Puffs, but I don't think they like the texture. They don't melt in the mouth as fast as I would like either. But they are getting to like them more. Emma has learned to chew them, but Abby just sits with it in her mouth.

My LO eats anything we are eating that chews easy. She was doing this with no teeth, because she just got her first 2 just about 2weeks ago. She loves pasta salads, potato salad chicken salad and tuna salad, also American chop suey. I also give her cheese, yogurt bites, cheerios, and all kinds of fruit (blueberrys, strawberrys, kewii (dont know how to spell it), watermelon, cantaloupe, and melon. She has also had some hamburger. I think she has other stuff but can't think of it all right now.

im pretty much feeding my daughter any thing we are eating, small bit to try with a staple diet of mushy meat & veg either home cooked or jar food. brekkie is usually oats w fruit or weetbix (well she will share mine but wont have a bar of it if its hers!) i have just started giving her little bits of pasta to try to but she isnt that keen at the moment she likes to look at it more than anything lol.

My doctor said to begin feeding my 9 MO table food. Anything small and chewble. I really think this depends on the amount of teeth and how the baby is developing. He loves beans, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes. Steamed veggies are also a recomendation. My son refuses to eat any veggies or meat from the jars of baby food. He loves when I cook them though. During dinner I will give him his sippy cup and small pieces of what we are eating on his tray. He feeds himself. (MESSY) :-)

I feed my baby 9 month old:
-Meats: chicken, turkey, steak if it's tender
-Carbs: PUFFS my girl can't get enough of these it's funny, cereals, (puffins, chex) and oatmeal
-Fruits/ Veggies: anything except citrus until she's a year the doc said I cut up a lot of fruit she loves bananas and peas, which was odd bc she hated the baby food peas
-Dairy: I started when she crawled (belly off the ground) yogurt, and cheese (no milk until she's a year is best since their tummies don't know how to handle it) the yogurt melts by Gerber are my favorite since they don't make to much of a mess and they're finger foods too so your baby can work on that too.
-Drinks: Usually organic apple, blueberry, grape, peach juice mixed with half water whenever she wants.
-Breastfeed: I am breastfeeding once in the morning and once before bed I will be taking one away when it comes to 10.5mos and then the last one I'll take away at 12mos
Hope this helps! Also just about everything I give her is organic besides the yogurt melts and puffs.

I feed my son anything that i am eating that i think is safe for him to "chew" and eat.....he also gets 4 bottles a day at 8 ounces each....and every once in a while i will feed him some baby food if i am eating something that he can't have or if we are out somewhere and he doesn't want to wait for the food......i know that some people say that they should have only baby food till they are a year old....but this works for my son and only you know whats right for your son......
