I would suggest reading the book "Einstein Never Used Flash Cards." It's a good read and makes one think about the expectations society is placing on young ones nowadays.

It definetly takes time and effort on your part to do flash cards. I recomend buying only the dvds and getting a book by Glen Doman for guidence on the rest. His method was orginally developed for brain injured children but he realized why can everyone benefit. My husband was reading at 18months, his mother used the Glen Doman method and when he was 18months old, they went on a trip to disney land and he was scared of ride saying "exit mommy, exit" reading the big red sign. It is on video.
