My baby stopped taking a bottle!!! How can I get her to take it againn?

My little Joselyn is 4 1/2 months old. I nurse her all day. I was giving her a 4 oz bottle everyday since the day she was born. And then about a month and a half ago my baby just stopped taking a bottle. My baby refuses to take a bottle. I tried changing the formula I was using, and even pumped my milk to give her in the bottle and she still refused to take it. The doctor said that if she was really hungry she would take it. So, I tried to let her cry until she took the bottle but after my sister and I sat and tried to get her to take it after 3 hours, I couldn't handle it anymore. I don't mind nursing her but I need to go back to work and if she wont take a bottle for anyone, I cant do that. Please do you have any suggestions???

Try a sippy with a soft vavle in it or when she's hungry leave her with your sister or a friend and go for a coffee or shopping! Sometimes little ones won't use bottle if mommy is anywhere near!

have you heard of the doidy cup suitable from about 3 months i believe, ive never used one myself but they are designed in such a way the baby will take what they need without swallowing too much and choking apparently, my freind used them for her children as they were fine...

My baby stopped taking a bottle so I just gave him a sippy cup with a soft spout. He loved it! so that's what I used and it was easier then for the transition away from the bottle.
