I can't believe our babies are almost one already!!! Aaron will be one on the 2nd!!! He still isn't walking though... Does anyone have any tips for getting him to walk? He is very social and talkative!!! Also, is anyone still breastfeeding and planning to wean after their 1st birthday? That's my goal anyway! Would love to hear back from some of my fellow november mommies!!!!

My daughter will be 1 on the 24th. She isn't walking and I am breastfeeding. Most kids walk when their ready. Just give them opportunities to pull themselves up and try and it'll all work out. My oldest walked at 13 months and the middle one at 15 months. I am going to introduce whole milk after her birthday and let her self wean after hat. My son weaned himself around a year and my middle daughter was like 15 months. The little one will decide when she's ready. She may be longer then the other two she still nurses twice during the night. It's up to her within reason though.

Meadow will be 1 on the 19th. She took her first steps at 10 months, but Elizabeth, it's very normal for babies to wait till after their first birthday to take their first steps. Is he cruising? As long as there are things like a coffee table that he can use to stand up with, and he's doing some cruising, there isn't much else you want to do other than let him figure it out on his own.... which he will.
I'm also still breastfeeding, and plan on weaning sometime during this next year. My goal was/is "at LEAST a year". For now I'm letting her take the lead. She's eating more and more solids, so she is naturally nursing less. I'm not in a rush to get her weaned right away though.

Tristin will be 1 on the 19th and he took a few steps to me the other night! He has grown so fast and is such a talker. He already uses a sippy cup and has started sleeping through the night finally - yay!
