What are your favorite arts & crafts projects to do with your kids? We do something crafty each day and I'm starting to run out of fun ideas. My kids are 3 & 5 so ideas appropriate to that age would be especially appreciated! :)

I love colored tissue paper projects.Cut into small (2 inch or so) shapes and then you can do two things: have them use water color brushes to "paint" water over them onto white paper. When it dries, they peel off the tissue paper and the color stays behind. The other is to "paint" glue over them onto paper, plastic cup, etc. Glue dries clear. Both are great opps to talk about what happens when you mix colors. Another idea is for you to take draw pictures with white cryaon on white paper. They use water colors to paint and "magic" pictures will appear (the wax crayon won't hold the paint). Or go on a nature walk, each kid brings in a favorite discovery, glue to the middle of a piece of paper and have them create something around it. Have fun!
