New Moms, Moms to Be, Veteran Moms Input Needed !!!

[deleted account] ( 16 moms have responded )

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Circle of Moms and would like your input with a business idea that I have,(new moms, moms to be and veteran moms):

What is the most important thing you wanted before and/or after the birth of your child ??? (i.e. sleep, a day to do nothing, foot massage, 10 mins of peace and quiet)

Your input is greatly appreciated :)

Solitude. I needed this so much I sacrificed sleep and now thirty years later, I am a professional insomniac. My last child is due to graduate from high school next year in May; he is a sweetheart. My eldest will be 30 on the 17th of December; he and my daughter finally chose life partners, earlier this year. Thank Yeshua, they are settled down and are taking over coaching their younger brother, who is really a decent young man.

Drink plenty of good water ( I live for the PUR system) if you are not going to get proper rest and talk to Brother Yeshua OFTEN, numerous time a day :)

I sucked right after having my son, I wasn't able to have sex for like 8 weeks, I was so sore... And it seemed that that was all my husband wanted because we couldn't have it. Lol. It's okay now, everything is back to normal. ;)

Are you interested in being a Doula? There are two types, Birth Doulas (who help with labor and delivery) and Postpartum Doulas (who help the new mom out). Check out the Doulas of North American website: http://www.dona.org/
