Does anyone know if it's safe to take low dose aspirin if you have cholestasis?

With my first pregnancy I had cholestasis and pre eclampsia - my hospital seems very concerned with the pre eclampsia, although I have heard that it is not as common in 2nd pregnancies - and have told me to take low dose asprin every day.

They do not seem concerned about the cholestasis at all - although from what I've heard it is very common to have it again - my concern here though was that since aspirin is a blood thinner and ICP can cause hemorraging, isn't this a bad combination?

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a good combination, but I'm no doctor. I didn't know taking a low dose of aspirin is supposed to help pre-eclampsia. I didn't know you were able to take it during pregnancy at all. I would definitely address the concerns with your Doctor. Do you have pre-eclamptic symptoms with this pregnancy?
