I have gotten my son a little keyboard (piano) at costco for 22.99 and i had bought a liltyke digital camera last year after christmas for 17.99. So i will be giving him both those- as he loves to play piano whenenver we go somehwere that has one and always tries to steal my camera! might get a couple books and puzzles as he likes those also. but that's it. He 's not going to remember and we are not having a big christmas this year as we have had in the past.

We likely will get our kids nothing, maybe some stocking stuffers for tradition. They get so many things from relatives.

My 2year old just got he dora trike for her birthday and she loves it, also leap frog click start is really cool, it says 3 and up but she loves it, little ones love to she the reaction of something they do, she also has the leapster 2 or simple computer games, I would recommend getting a really cheap keyboard that you are not going to care if they break it since they love to pound on the keys, or a ball pit, toysrus has small ones that will fit in their room for about 40 bucks, Tati loves hers and I got that for christmas last year. I am thinking of getting her the bead that slide along the wire like at the doctors office and toys r us has a really cool deal they are fabric tunnels you can set up anyway u want for them to crawl through and they fold u small for storage

We're getting our daughter a basketball goal (that's like a step 2 little tykes), a little kitchen set b/c she loves playing like she's cooking and some books and educational toys. she loves flashcards and things like that. Good luck! Shopping is getting harder as they get older :(

My daughter will be getting one of those table train sets, the ones with their own seperate table. She is BIG into trains, and whenever we go to childrens museaums, or toy stores where they are on display, it is nearly impossible to tear her away from it. I anticipate lots of little pieces under foot, but it will provide hours of entertainment! I found one at Kmart that is eligible for layaway, so I will probably be going that route! And of course, some educational toys.

That is how it is going to be here. seeing my hubby just got out of the service and now we are living off of unemployment. I feel horrible about it but Im am going to call Job and Family services and talk to our case worker about toys for tots. Maybe you should also look into that. Also our United Way here has a program to where you can sign up all of your children and get free book up to age 5. Its a great program and it does not matter how much you have as an income. I signed my kids up through WIC its worth looking into and I hope you can get some help w/ christmas.

I would like to get Zoe a child's digital camera, one she can knock about a bit and have a go at taking photos fro herself. She keeps wanting to use my mobile phone so if she can have her own she can develop this and we can download them onto the PC. Also it will be fairly small to pack as we have to go away to family at Christmas. Sx

Mikalah loves educational toys, puzzles, and such. We are getting her a Dora Trike, and she also loves to paint and color, so we thought about an easel for her to do art projects at.
