Here's mine: An Aquadoodle floor mat. Throw away the silly marker that comes with it and give your child a paintbrush and a plastic cup of water. My son has been going at this nonstop for the last 15 minutes, totally absorbed.

well for my son, he seems to enjoy watching t.v. No he doesn't watch junk all day.. he actually watches a channel we have called Sprout. It has all kinds of kid shows that he loves. amazingly he can sit there for hours watching it. Probably the best thing about it is that he learns alot of thing from it. He'll count, say parts of his ABC's, says some things in Spanish and Chinese. I love the interaction the show has with the children. I see him learning, laughing, interacting and playing with most of the characters that he watches. The other part of the day we are outside playing. He has a John Deer tricycle that he just loves. Of course he can't reach the pedals yet, but he sure can push himself around.

Tea parties, blowing bubbles, dress ups (op shops are very handy for this), riding the mop like a horse, play dough, crayon drawing, books, tickle torture, chasey, that's our place!

Riley is just busy all the time. She loves to watch movies though and will happily watch Veggie Tales or Nemo for a good 25min without getting into anything else, after that though she is on the go. She will color and play with toys but if there isn't something to keep her busy she will find something. She loves to blow bubbles now that the weather here is warmer. We have to watch her though cause she will use chairs and the kitchen stool to get into the high cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom.

well i keep my daughter entertained with dora movies or i set up her dora house and she takes out all her toys and plays with them all day long. now the bad part is the picking up after shes done :)
