Guess I'm a little behind in posting on this... but... I'm Abi, and my son Aiden just turned 2 yesterday (on the 29th)...he is my only child and I am a single mom so we are very close.... he's a mama's boy w/o all the bad connotations of the stereotypical 36 yr old virgin still living in his mother basement... :-) haha... anyways... we live in the suburbs of Chicago and I am a full time college student.... He loves to read, and developmentally we just learned to count successfully to 3 and we are working on our alphabet and numbers, he loves to read books! Hopefully I will get to know a lot of you... this group has already allowed me to connect with another Oct. 2007 mom (Sheila) and her daughter (Zoe) whom Aiden and I just exchanged birthday cards with!!! Always willing to lend advice.. if I have any good stuff to give!!! :-) Happy Halloween!!!

Hi I am Davi I am from shreveport, La. My son Harris was born Oct 11 2007 and he is my 3rd and final kid. He is a little sponge right now repeating everything he hears which sometimes is not good lol! I am trying to potty train him right now he loves to sit on the potty but he just won't tell me b4 he goes grrr. Well I hope to meet other moms from my area or even not from my area.

Hi my name is Niemah and my daughter Raquel ( Rocky) was born oct 6th 2007... shes truly a good baby and has always been very laid back and not a cryer.. Recently though, since her 2nd bday I feel like shes totally changed into a running, talking , rambunctious little lady!... she knows her alphabet and can tell you how old she is and how old shes going to be... I can tell she is going to be into performing because she loves to put on a show!...so far these terrible twos arent tooo terrible! lol but it is my first soo we'll see..

Hi I'm Erin, my son Wyatt just turned 2 on October 4. Wyatt is my only one right now, I'm going to school in January for Registered Nursing. I live in a small town in Ohio. He learns a new word everyday it seems, talking in complete sentences. It's so amazing watched him grow into a little boy. He is very loving, gives daddy and I hugs and kisses all the time, also tells us he loves us, it's so cute I just want to cry. He is also polite, saying please and thank you. he can count to 10 with little prompting and knows some colors. He is a very big boy, height wise, he is 37 inches (most people think he is 3 or older) and he weighs 38 pounds, he's not chunky just very tall. His doctor predicts him to be 6 foot 10 inches, I might have a pro ball player on my hands!! :))

Well, my name is Deana and I have 2 beautiful girls. Both born in October. My oldest was born October 3rd, 2003 and my youngest was born October 31st, 2007. (Yes, she is my little halloween baby) She is one week away from being 2 and she is very talkative, and very sweet. Her and her sister tend to get into trouble together alot but they mostly have fun together. She is not wanting to potty train well because she is very stubborned. She is a dancing, singing, jumping, shouting kind of girl. She is very smart and polite. She says please, thank you, your welcome, bless you, excuse me.. etc.. My oldest is very smart also. She was learning things at 2 years old that normally kids learn at age 4. They both started counting to 15 at 1 and a half, and they both also knew their ABC around that same time. I have purchased those "Your Baby Can Read" DVDs and they are well worth it. Thank you for letting me join you. =)

My name is Melanie. I am a first time mom to a wonderful little boy born on Oct. 2nd 07. When I have time I like to come here to talk and get advice, like finding out what to expect from my guy. He is absolutely wonderful. He is so smart, but rotten. He will test me to my limits!! But each and everyday I am thankful for my baby boy. He has so much energy, but is always falling down, or running into things. It amazes me to watch how he will just stand up and start running, and run into something!! He talks ALL the time. He is very polite always saying please, thank you and god bless you. He loves to dance and listen to music. He is just so much fun!! I love being a mom

Hi my name is Andrea and my daughter was born on the 16th of October 2007, and was my second born. She is nothing like her sister. Kylee is a all of engery, very active, and loves exploring. She has a very good vocabulary for her age. She loves babies, barbies, dora, and anything that is outdoors. She is very small for her age, but also has food allergies.



About me: I'm married and a mother of two daughters. I'm currently working a second/third shift job for a few more months then I will be laid off, because my job is being relocated. I love working the shift I work because I get to raise my children.

Hi, My name is Latoya and my October baby is my daughter Symone born on the 8th. I currently work full time for a non-profit org in NYC. I am dreaming of the day to go back to school to finish my degree in Early Childhood Education but I will wait until Symone is a little older I feel this is the time when she really needs me around. I feel bad enough when I leave her to go to work, leaving her to go to school also will be a little bit too much for me to handle right now. Well Symone is a "little me" it amazes me how much she acts and talks like me.. her favorite phrase is "Oh come on now" which she definitely gets from me. LOL

Hi there - My name is Patty and my daughter Andria was born on October 25, 2007. She is my 4th and final child. We are currently attempting potty training and the toddler bed, however she is so busy and unpredictable we have had to put a baby gate on her doorway to keep her from sneaking out of her bedroom in the middle of the night. I suffered from sever post partum depression with Andria and I am now trying to catch up on the bonding I missed with her during that time. Thank God for my fantastic husband who stood by me and helped me through the hardest and darkest time of my life as well as my other beautiful children who made me realize what a gift my family truly is. :-)

I'm Nickie Jacob was born on Halloween 10 weeks early :( but he is doing great he talks all day and does everything a normal almost two year old does he's just small. I'm working on potty training but its not working so well :(. I hope to meet some new friends with other children his age.

Hi there everyone.. Well I'm Raewyn and have 2 son's both born in October, Archer was born 28-10-07 and my big boy Ru'ell was born 30-10-99.. They are my pride n joy and didn't really know what life was till I had them, they fill my day with new and interesting things-its awesome and tiring all in one haha.. Archer is at that mine stage and man are the tantrums getting to be some real crackers, I love it when he decides to have a nut in the grocery store and you have every other parent looking at you like "thank god thats not my child" absolutly love those looks.. WOW this is awesome my son Dane was born October 9th 2007 hes such an amazing kid and Soooo adorable!!!!! I am a single mother of 2 crazy but gret boys 4 and 2 I did start young I had my first at 18 years old so I mattured pretty fast I think my kids are my world I do whatever I can to support them and give them the things they need and want. I sit and teach my children daily my 2 year old knows his ABCs knows how to spell his name and how to count to 10 in English and Spanish Im very happy and i find this site very helpfull I dont have very many circle of mom friends but would like some if anyone wants to talk or needs my opinion Im always here! Hi everyone! My name is Roshida, I am 27 and my daughters name is Jayla. She is going to be 2 on the 21st. She is my first and last child. She is full of enery and is the light of my life. I always said that I never wanted children because I felt like they were too much to deal with, and in a way I was right. She is a lot to deal with at times, but I wouldn't trade her in for the world! I was told that I could not and would never be ever to have children and then she came along... so I call her my miracle baby!

Hi My name is Tasha and I have twins. Jordan Harold and Jeffrey Dyllan. They were born on the 26th. They were my first and last. They were born 15 wks. premature so we deal with a lot of issues. Jordan is more developmentally delayed than Jeffrey. Jordan is more layed back and easy to entertain. Jeffrey on the other hand is my wild child. My husband has other kids from prevous marrage and Alex the almost 10 yr. old celebrates his b-day on the 18th of october. Makes birthdays interesting

My name is Jenna im 25 and I had my first child on October 26th (2007). I call him my little angel because 2 weeks after having him my mother passed away unexpectedly. I know if he was not in my life I don't think I could have made it through. He's turning 2 soon and i'm having a harder time with it than his first birthday. Two seems like he's all grown up and even though he still needs me for tons of stuff I just hate to think my little boy won't need me anymore. Hi! I'm new to this site. My name is Sandra and my youngest was born on Oct. 4, 2007. I have 4 children, and am a stay at home mom, so life is pretty busy. My son just turned 2 and is doing great developmentally. He's talking up a storm and trying to put sentences together...short ones of course, but it's a start. He's able to communicate with words now, so things are getting a little easier. We're potty training right now which is tough. He loves to take off his diaper and will sit on the "potty", but has only peed in it twice. I'm not in any hurry to get him trained b/c I know it takes time, but being out of diapers would be great:)

Hi there! Im Skye. I have two little girls but my 2007 baby, my eldest, is Lily born on the 26th. Right now Miss Lily is chattering about everything and anything and whats to know what everything is with a "Whats at?". She LOVES to draw, all kinds of craft, read books and most of all singing and dancing. At the moment, she is loving the "Peter Rabbit has a fly upon his nose" song. (We introduced Lily to this song as she suddenly developed a phobia for flies after her silly mum told her she couldnt touch bees....now all flys are bees). Anyway, I would love to meet as many mums as possible, to chat about absolutely anything about our children. We do have a few new less exciting things we are dealing with at the moment, terrible twos (tantrums and bad behaviour when we are out) and fussing eating. I would love to get some great ideas on how to deal with these kind of things from the more experienced mums. :-D

I'm Nohely and I have a CUTE LITTLE GIRL named Li'enah. She was born on October 25th, 2007 at lovely Curacao. We are living NOW in The NETHERLANDS after staying there for a year and a half. It was my WISH CAUSE we BOTH were born and raise in Curacao. She's talking A LOT and SHE LIKE to DANCE, have tons of ENERGIE! I LOVE HER DAMN MUCH!!!!! She's OUR SUNSHINE, MAKE me LAUGH. Hi there, totally new to this entire site. My Morgan was born 2 weeks late on Oct 4th, and she was a little monster even before she was born - I had bruises! Since she could walk (at 10 months) she's been into everything, but if you try and stop her she gives you that adorably innocent look that makes you wonder if she's pure evil. ;) She's got a big sister, Larkin (March '06) who tries to help me keep her in line. I'm a SAHM but I'm looking for part-time work, not easy since I'm very limited right now - my only babysitter is my mom. Nobody else in the family knows how to treat our kids so we don't trust them. Anyway, things are rough around here right now... hopefully I can find time to keep up with things here.

Hello Everyone,.... My name is Jodie, and my little girl Sumah was born on the 14th October 07.. She has a big brother and a big sister.. Sumah thinks she is the boss of the house... she loves being outside and watching her fav shows... Dora & In the night garden... sumah is talking very well and says alot, she is useing the potty all the time now and only has a nappy at bed time or when we go out..

After saying all the good things about her, there is one thing that i cant get her to do and that is sleep all night and in her own bed... but im hopeing that will happen really really soon... I cant believe she is going to be 2 very soon, she has grown to fast..

Hey ladies... My name is Brandi, and my October 2007 baby is my first born, Mikalah, who will be 2 tomorrow (Oct. 2nd). She now has a little sister, Abigail, who will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. Mikalah surprises me everyday, whether its something she says or does. I never thought my parents would be right when they said I would learn so much from my daughter, but I certainly have. My husband works out of town, about 2 hrs from us, and is gone Monday thru Friday. Its been an adjustment, especially when my daughter started waking up in the middle of the night saying "Where's Daddy?" and "I want my daddy", but we are managing. I am looking forward to what the future holds for my family, and can't wait to see what things Mikalah will teach her sissy.

Hello, my name is Leslie, my son Ian was born the 12th of the month. I am a single mom just graduated with my B.S. in Comp Eng started a job recently as a database programmer. Ian is forming "sentences" though good luck understanding them since he switch between spanish/arabic and english. It's very challenging dealing with a teenager and toddler at the same time....you are constantly switching gears! I stay busy shuffling my odlest around town to her different activities. Hi, I'm Jackie. My daughter Sophia was born 10/27/07. I am a teacher and my husband is a principal, Sophia is our only child. She has always reached milestones early, so we aren't really too surprised anymore when she whips out a new word. Right now she can recognize and name all the letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-13 and is speaking in 5+ word sentences. She is capable of communicating with us really well, which helps reduce the number of meltdowns. She also has a great sense of humor, which keeps us laughing all the time. My mom recently introduced her to Wonder Pets, so now we get to hear her talk about Linney, Tuck and Ming Ming all the time. Her other favorite show is Super Why, which really has been a contributing factor in her learning letters so quickly. She also loves books and has about 20 read to her a day.

Hello! My name is Krystal. I am a single mother to a beautiful little girl named Kaylena. She was born on Halloween of 2007. Right now she is really into Elmo. She gets to go see Sesame Street Live for her brithday. Her speech is very advanced for her age. She is speaking in sentences already. I am having a horrible problem with her say no to everything I say. I am in the process of doing potty training but so far she hasn't took to it. I work full time so she stays with family when I am at work. She loves music and watching animal movies. She has been walking since she was 9 months old, but is still as clumsy as ever!

I am looking forward to getting and recieving advice when its needed. Its nice to have people to talk to who's children are close in age!

Hi everyone, I am a mother of an October baby and right now we have issues with the potty. I thought I would wait until he was ready but, I am not sure if that will happen he thinks as the potty or the big boy toliet is a toy or a tub he can play in and around. Hi!! I am Karen (29) & my daughter Chloe was born on October 16 ... of course of '07 ... we share the same birthday! Chloe just started walking at 21 months, she is very "flexible" as the doctors like to say, so that had some delay on her walking and crawling (14 months). I also have 2 boys ... Austyn (9) & Raymond III (7) ... my hubby works tons of overtime which lets me be a SAHM :)

Hi my name is Jamie. I have a darling daughter born Oct.1 2007. She's a mess! She's talking up a storm and I am on the last leg of potty training. We just started wearing panties instead of pull-ups to bed this week! She's doing great. I have a 16 year old son and I am married to a wonderful man who is in the National Guard and will be deployed in December so I will need all of the support I can get from anyone because I don't know how we'll make it without him here with us.
