My doctor gave me liquid vitamins when my daughter was 6 months old. They are dark yellow drops and taste awful. They stain everything and she wont take them straight. We mix them in her milk once every other day and she will drink it but I think it dillutes them too much. Any advice? The water we used for her formula didnt have flouride so I am worried her teeth wont be strong. My dentist told me her permanent teeth are already growing underneath her baby teeth so I have to be sure to get flouride in her somehow. He also warned me not to give her too much or her teeth will be stained gray. Help!

I give my daughter the target brand poly-vi-sol vitamins. They come in a fruit flavor so she takes them straight with no problem as for the flouride Bethany's doctor prescribed flouride drops so maybe you can talk to your doctor to see if they will do the same for you, the ones her doctor prescribed are peach flavored so they go down easy. Hope this was helpful.

Hey Suzi, If she drinks the whole cup of milk that you put the vitamins in, then it doesn't matter that it's diluted, she's still getting all the vitamins she needs. Mason gets fluoride drops that are separate from his vitamins. They are a peach flavor and he LOVES them, so if you are having trouble getting her the vitamins, and are worried about the fluoride, ask your pediatrician about a separate fluoride supplement (and then vitamins without the fluoride).
