losing weight after the second baby

It has been over a year since my second child was born and the weight is not coming off as easy as after the first. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and have always eaten healthy. I still nurse my daughter twice a day and have heard that this may cause my body to want to store fat. I still need to lose at least 20lbs just to get to my pre-preg weight, another 5lbs would be nice too. I wouldn't be so stressed about it but my knees and ankles hurt from the extra weight and I do not feel healthy. I can't seem to get under 150lbs...It's really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem or any advice?

No...It's not just you. I am having a heck of a time losing any of th 2nd baby weight! It's very disheartening but what can I do. Keep up at the gym and stat watching what I eat. I didn't have to do it with the 1st but things change, I guess!

I am currently having the same issue with my weight.  I stopped nursing when my daughter was 14 months old and didn't lose any weight because of it.  I joined a stroller fitness class, changed my diet, and run on the days I don't go to my stroller fitness class.  I have lost a whopping 3 pounds.  I honestly don't know what else to do and I have accepted that it will just take time to lose the weight.  I gained a total of 60 pounds when I was pregnant with her and either because of my age or the enormous amount of weight gain it just isn't coming off like it use to.  I would suggest that you just keep doing what you're doing and hopefully the weight will come off in time.  If you want to look into more a meal restriction program, I would recommend the Super Market Diet.  That has helped me with my 3 pound weight loss.
