No weight gain for 6 months

My son will go 6 month spurts with no weight gains and then 6 months with weight gains. It's just his growth pattern. It sounds like everything is fine and I wouldn't worry about it unless she loses weight. My son is below the third percentile, but since he growth is a consistent pattern the pediatrician isn't worried about it. He's also active and eats pretty well.

I think thats normal my son is the same age, and hasnt gained either. I think its just odd to us because for so long they gained every month. My son was 10 lbs at birth and gained 1 pound a month untill he was around 27 lbs. (He is 32 now and been that way for a LONG time)

I have an October 2007 daughter also. She has been 40 lbs exactly for the last 9 months, but none of her doctors are worried. She has always been tall, and weighed good amounts in accordance to her heighth. She is autistic and so she has SEVERAL doctors following her on a monthl basis and her weight sometimes varies by an ounce or two, but always 40lbs.

I wouldn't worry about your daughter if I were you.

My son hasnt put any weight on in over a year, but he eats well, is active and healthy!! Think its the norm!!

I think my son has put on maybe 1 to 2 pounds in that time. It seems that your little girl is very active so I wouldn't worry too much about it. My son is also active and eats normally too.

the only advice i have is not to worry. she's doing fine. as long as they are eating properly and acting normally, there is nothing wrong.
my girl-child hasn't gained weight in a year. in fact, the last time i weighed her, she had lost 5 pounds. but she is active all day long. she never sits still if she can avoid it. she even flops around all night long in her sleep! she gets a proper amount of nutrition. she's fine
