To really clean the teeth, I just use a washcloth and wipe them down with my finger in the washcloth. And then I let her chomp around on the baby/toddler toothbrush so she gets used to having it in her mouth.

I let my son watch when I brush my teeth, then I brush his. Sometime we actually get some brushing done, sometimes not. I think as long as you are tring, they will get the hang of it....

I got the finger swipe from Orajel for doing a survey...But the problem is that Audri is a very combative baby. I've been letting her chew on the tooth brush to get her used to it and i got her the tutti fruti pratice paste. Hopefully it works. Thanks for all your input!

My daughter LOVES to brush her teeth. Every time she's in the bathroom she points to her toothbrush like she wants it. I do the first initial brush of her 2 teeth, then I let her do it. She mostly chews on it, but alteast she is getting used to the idea of having the brush in her mouth. I bought some baby toothpaste which probably helps. It smells super fruity.

I purchased an infant toothbrush which fits over my finger and I move move back and forth to clean my daughter's teeth. This toothbrush kinda resembles a thimble and is the best thing I've found to use on cleaning the teeth of little ones. I used this very same product on my son when he was younger.

I just let my 14 month old chew on her tooth brush, she only has 4 teeth, I did this with my other 3 children also and then once they were used to the idea I started to brush there teeth without paste and then introduced the toothpaste afterwards it has worked for me so far!
