Not sure how this started but about 4 days ago she stood up in the tub and pointed to some fuzz and started screaming that fish were going to get her. So I told her that there were no fish that it was just a fuzzy. So she came unglued about fuzzies going to get her. Im talking climbing the wall, screaming and falling all over trying to get out of the tub. Now she wont even go near the tub its been 4 days. I bought new toys, bath finger paints and bubbles. Nothing has worked. She wont even take a tub in the sink or in another bathroom. Im out of ideas.

Thanks everybody. Today I enticed her into playing with the water in the sink in the bathroom, something she LOVES to do. Once she was having fun I let the sink fill up. Then she decided on her own to sit in the sink. So she played and let me wash her up, hair and everything.

I have not had any issues with the tub, but something came to mind as I read your post that might help- worth a try, right?
My daughter (nearly 4) will not share the en suite bathroom with us because of all the hair (her father is quite fluffy unfortunately)... The only times she will come in is just after I clean it, because all the hair is now in the vacuum... Maybe if your little girl is not scared of the vacuum, get her to come in and help you suck up all the fuzzies, and then physically remove them by emptying them into the trash outside? She can see with her own eyes that they are all gone and cannot get back into the house... good luck & I hope that made sense!

She could have had someone tell her or seen a movie about things in the water getting people. what ever it was something has happened to her to make her scared of the tub or water. try to talk to her and anyone she might have been with without you and see if you can figure out what might have happened. my twins used to do that same thing and come to find out they had snuck out their room when they were suposed to be sleeping and watched daddy while he was watchng "Jaws" on tv. once we talked to them and told them it was just a movie they have been fine. Good luck.
