what should i give my son hes two for skin eczema

he has have bad eczema for awhile it was on his feet and all over body. now it has gone away kinda on his feet his hands are really bad broke out he scratches it all the time and his face is covered looks like its swollen too. sometimes it will flare up beat red and itch where he will cry . i have taken him to the doctor so many times im tired of what they say it doesn't help. i have tried coco butter all different lotions . i have ran out of things to do. the doctor say he might be allergic to perfumes but we have stop all that we dont use anything that has perfumes in it. please help me

Hi Molly:)
My son has it too but thanks to my doctor it hardly comes back.
The doctor prescribed an ointment called Elocon, it contains MOMETASONE FUROATE.
it works very quick and u will see a result within a day!
what also helps is not to use strong baby washes, make sure they have the dermo approved label and try to not to wash baba often, water makes it worse.
Also moisturisers and lotions with oil based ingredients will make it so much worse.
Elocon works for my son and i really stand by it! there's nothing worse they my baby saying itch itch and scratching till he bleeds.
I hope ur doctor can write u a proscription.

We use hydrocortisone cream (cortaid) on our son's eczema twice a day. If we forget, his skin looks horrible. It only keeps is at bay, but it used to work really well. Worth a shot.

Not sure if you have tried this, but mix aquaphor, desitin, and eucerin. The desitin helps trap the other two of these ingredients on the skin and the eucerin and aquaphor is excellent for eczema... hope this helps :o)

my son had it pretty bad but now it just breaks out on his legs...i use spectro care special eczema cream for kids and it works great, as long as we use it everyday he doesnt break out

My son has mild eczema, but my girlfriend's son has severe--we both use the baby Aveno moisterizing products made for dry skin. They also have a bath wash that is especially for eczema. Their products contain no perfumes or dyes and do a nice job helping to soothe itchiness and clear up the patchy skin. Good luck!

We have had our 2 year old with the same and no help but have found sudocrem and piriton antistamine medicine works for her and keeps the eczema calm she screamed with the creams from the doctors. we put sudocrem on 3 times a day and give her piriton syrup morning and night you can but try poor kids :(
