My daughter constantly repeats herself!! Its driving me and my husband crazyyyyy!!! for example: "can i have more juice, mom? can i have more juice, mom? can i have juice please, mom?" over and over and over again! She does it even after we have answered her question, or acknowledged that she has said something...

We are ALWAYS telling her "you only need to tell us one time, we hear you!!" day in and day out but nothing seems to work!! I have to practically yell "I HEAR YOU HUNNY!!!!!! PLEASE STOP REPEATING YOURSELF!" before she stops!

ANY TIPS OR ADVICE would be very helpful!!

Shes slowly beginning to outgrow this stage! We didnt differ from the answering her the first time and then telling her we heard her the first time, then ignoring it bit...



for all those posting you have the same problem.. it took several months but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! lol

I'm not sure of what advice to give since my daughter does the same thing & we still haven't figured out how to stop her. She's bad because if you don't acknowledge her, she just gets louder & more high pitch when she says mom or dad. Even if she is talking to a family friend or her siblings she repeats their name till she gets heard. We get very frustrated and would like it to stop also.

changing the subject works too but im trying to find a more permanent solution lol

my son does the same thing! what works for me is after the 5th+ time he's said it I change the subject; and that helps sometimes. some days it's worse than others..

will do..so far the only things ppl have posted are all things ive already tried! ..sooo...frustrating!!!

We are having the same issue...and its driving us crazy too! I have tried to reason with my son but its like he doesn't even acknowlege me when I do! I'm guessing its just a phase and hopefully will run its course and STOP. If you hear any tips or advise please pass them on.
