My 9 month old baby girl hates her baby cereal and now the step 3 baby jar food also!!! I try her with steamed white rice and she loves it! Also the RIce Crispies cereal she is able to eat them. I think she now wants to try real table foods. Anyone having the same problems?? Please let me know any of your secrets?? I am still breastfeeding Every 3-4 hours, but I am also in the process of weaning her. It is going to be a difficult process weaning this one because she hates the formula.

Anyone have any recipes for this 9month old babiy?? I would really appreciate it!!!

My daughter doesn't have much issue with the stage 3 foods, but she loves eating pasta, steamed carrots and baked sweet potato fries. She also loves a slightly chunkier veggie stew, avocado and lentils. (I'm vegetarian for medical reasons, and there's a 50% chance she has it too, so we're playing it safe). She has 3 teeth in and 4 on the way, so she has no issues chewing.

I just need to figure out her breakfast, as she still likes her mixed grain cereal but won't eat any other kind and still doesn't like toast.

IF I WERE YOU I WOULD WAIT TO TAKE HER OFF THE BREAST UNTIL 1 YR. THEN SHE CAN GO RIGHT ON WHOLE MILK. I DO HOWEVER FEED MY DAUGHTER TABLE FOOD AND SHE LOVES IT. SMALL PIECES BROKEN DOWN & WATCHED VERY CLOSELY.. SHE WILL STILL EAT BABY FOOD BUT IS HAPPIER ON TABLE.. HER FAVORITE MEAL IS BROCCOLI,ZUCCINI,CHICKEN AND STRING BEANS STEAMED TO MUSH SOFT WITH RICE

My twins also LOVE avacado. They both have different tastes but some of the other things they eat are little peices of wheat toast, bananna, sweet potato, peas, plain yougurt and gerber puffs

My 9 month old little girl also eats anything we eat. I usually cut it up small but still big enough where she can pick it up. She loves to feed herself.

Quoting Ashlee:

sorry I should have said pasta (macaroni, rigatoni what ever we have) no soy sauce! not tomato sauce really either diced tomatoes and whatever other veggies I throw in there usually a carrot some celery and onions like a spaghetti but not so saucy more chunky. He surprised me the other day when he liked my scalloped potatoes he normally wouldn't like the texture but I guess he is slowly getting used to everything not being pureed. He normally spits out something new and almost gags but then once he gets over the texture and really tastes it he goes crazy with "num num num" and then he eats it.

thanks ashee!!! Great to know and I will trythis for my baby:)

Hi maricel,

I have a 9 month old baby boy, i feed him almost everything!! Tonight he had pork, potatoes and veggies and he ate it all, he loved it.

I think weaning your baby is a big step, it is all trial and error, also it is what suits you best.

I wish you all the luck, good luck xx

hi,

just wanted to ask if you mash your potatoes and cut your pork and veggies into little bite size? or do you still puree your foods for your baby?
