My son is 13 weeks and hasn't really had a "laughing fit" yet but he is laughing. When he does laugh he sucks air in and it is absolutely adorable. He's been "talking" for about a month or so but is getting very vocal lately. Just today we had a conversation that lasted about 15 minutes. This one was special to me because he really looked me in the eyes when he was cooing. As other moms have said, every child advances at thier own pace. Just when I think it's time he should begin doing something new it seems he starts doing it within the next few days. Hang in there. It's worth the wait.

Our son laughs when we put a warm flannel on his tummy...when his vest is taken on and off (just at the point when you have taken out his arms and are about to slide it over his head)...and sometimes when we are laughing. I thought blowing raspberries on his tummy would do it but he's still a bit bewildered by that one!

My babygirl of 3 months started smiling at 1month surely not a wind and started laughing just before 2 months this is my second child and I started noticing things very quickly probably cause I never actually paid attention to my firstborn's milestones I was just very happy it happened but yes with your second born you are very much aware of things that's happening

Hey there Jodi,
My daughter laughs ALL the time - I mean ALL the time... she was born on 28 October also! She is so beautiful when she laughs - tonight I gave her a bath, she was blowing bubles (dribbling) so I thought I would make the noise back - well do you think I could stop her laughing... every time I made the noise - she would laugh a really deep laugh! It is soooo sweet and innocent to watch. I loved every moment of it!

My daughter was born Oct. 13th and laughs every now and then. I'm the only one who has witnessed it. My poor husband keeps missing it. I think everyone things I'm crazy. But every laugh is absolutely adorable! I can't wait till she does it more frequently. She's going to be VERY ticklish because every time it's happened has been when I'm changing her shirt.

My daughter started laughing about 2 weeks ago. She makes me work for it but it's the best sound in the whole world. I make funny noises, blow zurberts, bounce her lightly on my tummy and blow the hair on top of her head. Basically, the crazier I look, the more she laughs. I got it on video too and now I show it to her. The look on her face to hear herself laugh is hilarious.

mine started laughing really early, it was such a funny adorable sound that we had to video tape it!!! he still has the funniest laugh, it almost sounds like he is hyperventilating! all babies are different so i don't know when your son will laugh, but it will be so worth the wait!
