Best Diaper Rash Cream?

:( thats sad. my girl's had them before that bad
I use penatin. Clears it up really well. My doc suggested it too, because its one of the highest percentage zinc oxide you can find without perscrition. (I think its about 18% where the usual ones are about 15%) Sudocreme isnt bad either, but its only 15%, and with a bleeding bum, Id suggest something heavier
Make sure the bum is very dry before putting it on, too. So no moisture is caught underneath the cream, and put on a good thick layer.

I've used Sudocream for my son and haven't had any problems. But with one of my daughters she used to get bad nappy rash and it ended up being her disposable nappies they had aloe vera in them so I had to stop using wipes with aloe vera to clean her and started touse sorbolene cream and cotton wool to clean at change time and Curash Powder that was the only thing that worked for her, seemed to dry the rash and it healed quicker .

We use Sudocream. When our daughter's was quite bad we didn't use wipes, we just used cotton make up remover pads & water. Then the Sudocream. There also was a time that she got a secondary rash because of the rash & we had to use an antifungal cream for 7 days - even if it cleared in 3-4 days you keep using it for the 7 days to make sure the thing is gone.
