When i was pregnant i craved a lot of fruit and peanut butter! around 8 months i started to crave hamburgers and milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches!

In the first trimester i had the nausea 24/7 but i rarely threw up! i consider myself very lucky to have had an easy pregnancy!

What were/are your biggest cravings and worst symptoms!?

For the first three months I was STARVING all the time. Literally, every two hours, it felt like I hadn't eaten ALL day. That is how hungry I was. Then in the 4th month I threw up everything I ate or drank--even water--for a straight week and thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. After I was over all of that, I craved peanut-butter M&Ms, pasta, blueberries, milk shakes, and oat meal cookies (actually, almost anything sweet, when I think about it).
Some of my other experiences were:
- I'm a big coffee drinker, but I couldn't stand the smell of it while pregnant.
-The prenatal vitamins made me sick to my stomach (possibly from the iron?) and so my doctor told me to take Flintstones vitamins w/ iron and I also drank Ensure every morning, because of all the good vitamins it has. And ate these things called Belly Bars which were way over priced, but delicious.

One afternoon I ate top ramen and peaches for lunch and then promptly threw up...right on my Pomeranian!! Poor dog was so freaked out and I started crying, because whenever I tried to clean him I got really nauseated. I finally called my Mom crying and she laughed, but came over and helped.

I had a good pregnancy I think. I did have some nausea & vomitting, but can not complain. I didn't have cravings at all. I did have anti-cravings. I went off some foods completely. Foods that I would usually eat a lot of- Eggs, Sultanas, Carrots. I did eat a lot of Toasted cheese, tomatoe & avocado sandwiches.

wow sounds rough! i dont blame you for not wanting more kids but every pregnancy is different! most moms with more than one kids have told me that each of theirs was diff eachtime! some had the nausea bad for the first and had a good pregnancy the second time! thats why im scared to have another bc i had such a good pregnancy first time around! it scares me to think it could be as bad as you have it! youre a tough woman! :)

I had gestational diabetes and had to follow the strict diet, check my blood sugar and inject myself with insulin. It was not fun...but I only gained 18lbs with my pregnancy, so I guess that was a good result. But man, there were times I cried I was just so hungry!!!

Oh dear, there was no need for starvation.....I'm a type 1 diabetic and have been for 15 yrs so I know which foods to eat and be full......my problem was that during my pregnancy I just wanted to eat ALL the time and there are only so many celery stick you can eat! I ended up having to eat 5 small meals a day and looking like a pin cushion from all the injections!

I didn't starve myself, I ate every 2 hours.  Sometimes, it just wasn't enough and it wasn't what I really wanted, you know?  :)  No matter how hard you try, carrots and celery are just not the same as chocolate when you're pregnant, you know?

Unfortunately I still crave chocolate which is why I gained back 20 of the 40lbs I lost ;o(.

I had a pretty easy pregnancy, I had no morning sickness or nausea. And didn't really have food cravings although I could not get enough water or milk we were going through like 12 liters or more a week!! I feel like I ate quite a bit but at the same time struggles to put on the 25 lbs. - Don't hate me yet because now I weigh more than i did prego and am not sure what I am going to do about it we walk regular and dont eat crappy food we steam everything no butter etc so I had an easy pregnancy but a bad 7 1/2 months so far as far as body image and self confidence.

I craved vinegar with my first, and cranberry juice with my second. At the end of my second I started craving brownies and peanut butter sandwiches, I think I was really craving milk though since I rarely drink it except with brownies or PB&J.

Never had nausea with the first one, but I did eat some bad sausages when preggo with her and actually puked so hard I burst the blood vessels in my eyes! lol
I was nauseous the first two months with my son, but the cranberry juice helped it a lot. Had horrible heartburn with him tho, Tums every night before bed or I couldn't sleep.

I wanted citrus fruit all the time. Lemons, grapefruit, oranges...you name it. My husband made fun of me because I would "stockpile" the stuff. I also craved Mexican food and cheeseburgers. I had a lot of nausea the first trimester as well, but only threw up a couple of times due to something my husband cooked. :)

jeesh..i could NOT do citrus! it gave me the WORST heartburn! i tried to drink OJ one day and that was enough for me! to this day i have a hard time bringing myself to eat citrus, though i loved it before! i feel you on the "smell" thing! the 3 or 4 times i threw up, it was due to something i smelled too! makes me sick thinking about it! lol my gag reflex is gone too! smallest little things makes me gag now! i hate it!

Well, I should have probably added that Tums was also a staple of my diet the entire pregnancy.  Peppermint Smoothie Tums, because the chalkiness of the other kind of tums made me queasy.  :)  Something about texture when you're pregnant...

LOL yes tums! i always had two bottles on stock at all times! i always bought the fruit smoothie blend! yum yum! hehe
