My son will be 1 on Thursday (yippee!) and we've been on the same feeding schedule for several months now. I know that with this milestone it might be time to start changing things up a bit and I'm just curious what other feeding schedules for 1 year old's are like.

For us, he gets a bottle when he wakes up (still on formula), breakfast about an hour later, a sippy cup of formula after the morning nap followed by lunch a little later, 4-6 oz. diluted juice after his afternoon nap, dinner around 7 and a final bottle before bed.

Any 1 year old feeding schedules would be helpful. Thanks!

My little guy turned a year Oct 2!! It is very exciting :) This is typically the feeding schedule for my 1 year old: When he is up in the am I give him a full 8oz sippy cup of whole milk and then I give him 4 tbsp of cereal and half of a yogurt (he is up by 7:30) then a couple hours later I give him a snack (some banana or crackers) then lunch it depends (gerber entrees, cheese, veggies or meat) then a couple hours later another snack (fruit/puffs/fruit bar/cheese etc) then supper is usually what we eat for dinner (this is around 5:30-6) and lastly a couple hours later before bed I give him some cereal (3 tbsp) with some fruit and another 8oz sippy cup of whole milk. He is completely off of bottles and I have never given him one to go to bed with for naps or bedtime and he does very well with this routine :)

My daughter sometimes will eat cherrio's when she wakes up and then oatmeal and a sippy of milk for breakfast around 7:30. Then lunch and a sippy around 11. Nap right after lunch for either 2.5 or 4 hours. Snack when she wakes up. Supper around 5 with a sippy. She eats regular foods for all meals. Then she just gets a sippy of milk before bed but doesn't finish it.

Hope the feeding schedule for my 1 year old helps - Our son gets up around 8 am and eats breakfast (I give him various breakfast food), then has a bottle about an hour later, usually takes a nap, then has lunch around 1 pm ( usually what I have or I'll give him a gerber graduates meal), then he snacks sometime between 2-4, then has dinner at 5 and a bottle before bed.

Oh and I meant to add that he sometimes gets about 3-4oz of diluted juice once/day and water all other times. I always have a sippy cup of water readily available for him.

Our son starts his morning with a formula bottle and then right after that he has breakfast (yogurt with fruit, cheese and toast) throughout the day he has his sippy cup with water. A couple of hours after breakfast he has a snack (fruit, crackers or cheese if he did not eat cheese for breakfast. Then at about 12pm he has lunch (meat, veggie and a starch...sometimes fruit too if he is super hungry). Then he has another snack a couple of hours after lunch which sometimes includes another formula bottle. Our son has naturally started to wean himself from the formula so he's not too big on the bottles as much as he use to be. Then at about 6:30pm we have dinner which includes a meat, veggie and a starch. At dinner time he gets a bit of whole milk with his meal. Then last but not least he gets a bedtime bottle right before going to sleep. Our son will be a year on the 26th and I plan to pretty much stick with the same routine except of course without the formula which will be replaced with whole milk and a sippy cup. (Which he uses more often anyhow) Hope this gives you an idea for a 1 year old feeding schedule. Happy birthday to your little one :)
