We got our little guy a new outfit for church. He is also getting a basket of toys, mainly because I wanted an excuse to get him some new toys. He's getting juice for his new sippy cup instead of candy. Some friends of mine took their baby to the mall to take a picture with the bunny. I think we'll take him to the church easter egg hunt just to watch and for us to socialize. For all moms out there if you celebrate easter don't forget to teach the kids the spiritual reasons behind easter. Easter is a great time to get into church.

My daughter is getting baptised at the Easter Vigil service, which is historically significant we're told. So we'll be having family around for that, and she'll have a beautiful white dress and we're going to have a party back at our place afterwards. So it kind of kills 2 birds with one stone - something special for her but more because of the baptism than Easter. Oh, and it's her 6 month birthday, so it's a party that pretty much covers the 3 events.

instead of eggs, i plan on buyin some clothes and maybe a few toys, they need things that match their development and his birthday is so far away, so it a good excuse to buy those things that will help him develope.

We are getting my daughters Easter pictures done .. also going to Church in the morning .. we bought her an Easter dress .. and making up a little basket for her .. also buying a special Easter bunny :)

If you have family and friends with young kids, go to an Easter Egg hunt.  He's still alert and enjoys watching what's going on.  My son is going to come with us when my 22 month old daughter hunts for Easter Eggs and has brunch with the Easter Bunny.  Some memories you have to make, and he'll only ever have one first easter, christmas, halloween, etc.  Make it as special as you can.  You'll never have another easter like this one.

We have a family camping trip planned, and we will start my a bunny collection for her :)  my big brother did that for me when I was a kid and I still have many of the bunnies - so it is something special :)

Am looking fwd to some family time away... :)

My son and I are going to my parents house for Easter and my mom is getting things that I can use for him such as his baby food like fruit and veggies some diapers and wipes and she is making him a rain poncho since there is no place i can find a raincoat his size and besides having one made by grandma is always special.  It is all in what you want to do with you child for this holiday.  My son has a little pair of light blue pants and a polo shirt onesie with a little blue sweater vest and also has tow outfits for baby's first Easter.  Will be taking pictures of the day for him. When he get a little older then you can have some fun with him because he will understand a little bit more.  That is what I am going to do with my son for Halloween, Christmas,  Easter and other holidays that he is too small yet to understand or have fun.

Lily got an easter dress for easter vigil mass i'm putting a doll in her basket .... the kids in my sons preschool class always brings her a doll in the morning to play with when we drop brother off and she loves it

There really isn't much you can do at this age. We are getting family pics done and pics of him surrounded by eggs/basket etc.
