suppose i forgot to say what she can do (like all mommy's, we compare LOL)

she took her first unassisted step today (5 days after her bday) she says hi, bye, kitty, daddy, mama, thank you...

she has 8 teeth, working on the 9th...

she dances like its going out of style

feeds herself very well

and got her first haircut! and is in a forward facing car seat now too!!

its so much fin to see them grow

Happy Birthday to all the 1 yr olds out there. Its been amazing watching my daughter Mia grow right before my eyes. She will be one on Oct 23. She has almost 8 teeth, her hair is really long and curly, she is feeding her self and trying to walk, but she is scared. She is gorgeous! Happy Bday to all October babies turing the big 1!!!

My little one will be 1 on the 17th, we are doing a balloon themed bday party. Everytime she sees one she says "ball" and sticks her hands out for it. It is so cute. (And no we don't let her play with them). We are also renting a ball pit for her little classmates to enjoy as we have a bbq at the park

My little four pound wonder is now a 20Ib walking, talking ish and laughing star. I am thankful ever additional day i have with her as it could have been so different. One on the 13th October Iona Skye have the best birthday ever. Love you Mummy Mel

Happy birthday to all October 2008 babies! My little man is 1 today! Party in the park with teddy bears galore. He is such a happy baby but for some reason today he has chosen to be grumpy? He is never grumpy!! Oh well, sleep time before the party might cure this...once again hope everyone enjoys this month and its our day too!

My son's will be 1 on October 22nd and I couldn't be more excited. Time has passed in the blink of an eye! He's graduated from the infant room at his daycare and will entering into the Toddler room! He's such a big boy and makes me such a pround mommy. He's gaining his independence and wants to to everything on his own even though he's still learning... I hear it's a Libra thing! Happy birthday October baby's!!! I too am in a bit of denial about my Isabella turning 1 on the 14th. The reality has hit that my baby is no longer a baby anymore! This year has definitely flown by - no idea where it's gone and remember this time last year as I waited patiently for her arrival. And everyone has been right - enjoy pregnancy because it goes by too fast, labour is not that bad, sleep when they sleep, enjoy every moment because she will be turning 1 before you know it!!!! xox

my baby ant so much of a baby any more, she has just started walking, she likes to push a dolls pram around she trys to copy her sisters and brother. shes still small for her age, i cant beleve its almost been a year it feels like only yestorday that i gave birth to her, hannah will be 1 on the 17th happy birthday to all

Its so hard to believe that the last of our bunch will be a year old =( Emelyn will be hitting her 1 year mark on the 28th, we are planning a butterfly and flower themed party, because this is probably the only year that I will be able to get away with it. . . LOL. . .everything is presonalized with her name and #1 on it. I was so sad to see this day come, but somehow I am already planning her 2nd birthday party =)... .. .Happy Birthday to all you October Babies I hope your day is a BLAST!

Aww! Have fun!! My very first baby is one today! It still makes me want to cry, I cant believe a year has gone by. Hes not a baby anymore hes a toddler. Hes walking and talking and growing up soo much! We had his birthday party last month because we planned to go overseas but didnt but we did the Elmo theme, he loves Elmo and Mickey! Im still in like shock that my babyboy is gonna be one. he is walking and telling me no and all i remember is yesterday i could hold him with one hand and now he doesnt want me to hold him. they grow so fast

My daughter will be one on the 23rd, but seeings how two of our friends (her playmate's parents) are getting married that day we're doing it on the 24th. Winnie the Pooh theme cause she loves Piglet. I'm somewhat scared of her intelligence, as she can UNLOCK my cellphone, change its ringtone and then send a text to daddy before I've even realized what she's done o.0. She also lets you know when it's time to change her by grabbing your hand and bringing you to the stairs (her change table being upstairs) and then half-walking/half-crawling up to her room.

My son Omar is going to be One on Thursday (10.8) I cant believe how time as flown by! He started walking at about 11 months but just about a week ago started to walking without holding on to things and now hes crusin'! His 3rd tooth is about to come in and hes changing so much each day and learning new things. He loves "talking" on the phone, everytime you say hello he puts whatever hes got in his hand up to his ear. Hes amazing and its been an amazing year with him here. My Baby Bug Abigail will turn One on 10/27. We are planning a Halloween Birthday party. I already found the cutest costume...thank you Costco!
She is cruising well and a champion stair climber. Her hair is getting lighter all the time and she has finally decided that it would be OK to get some teeth...#2 just arrived.

I am so excited that we got through this first year in one peice. Aila's birthday is Oct 15 and we'll be throwing a "lil Ladies and Hearthrobs" birthday party. She is such a joy! She has amazed me so often because I can remeber so vividly the day she was born. She got her first teeth at 3 months and started talking( "up,up,up) at 6 months! She is now a pro walker too which started two wks ago out of the blue she just took 8 steps! I can not imagine all of the adventures we'll have together but I can't wait. Happy birthday lil Libras and Scorpios!

My little Alexis will be one on the 30th! My how time flies. She has been walking for about a month now. She is adorable. Only two teeth but eats every thing in sight! Our little Sophie will be one October 6th! We are having a fall theme for her party at the pumpkin patch here in our town! They have a hay ride where you ride out to the field and pick out your own pumpkin...and they also have a pony to ride a two corn mazes. We are just gonna have pizza and some chips or something... but i am so excited for her party! Even though she wont remember it lol!!! Happy first birthday all the other munchkins out there:)!!

my darling girl, will be 1 on the 21 of October..we have no idea yet what to do, as we want to do so many things!! she has been walking for some time now, she has 6 teeth and says hello in English( daddy is portguese, so he's teaching her that aswel). she also dances when she hears music( dunno where she got that from..lol) i'm so excited about her first birthday..what's everyone planned for their little angels?? i wish all the little ones, a very happy first birthday and many, many more to come.xxx

Heather, my little girl Ailani is also 1 on Oct 6, I am very excited, we are having a small party at home and I am going to decorate a cake to look like Upsy Daisy from In the Night Garden. Maybe we should have a contest for best bday cake, just so we can see what other Mums did and get some ideas for future bdays.
