Just wondering if anyone puree's their food then freezes it. I just want to know how much you freeze and for how long you can freeze it for. Thanks.

In case you have a hard time finding ice cube trays with lids (I did) I found a deviled egg tupperware tray. About the same size spaces as ice cube trays and they pop out just as easily.

I freeze food in the Tupperware Ice Cube trays as they have the lid & then transfer into the zip lock bags. They are never in there more than a month anyway, but I have heard 3 months.

Yes, I do a batch and put it in a ice cube tray - I don't know how long you could leave it in there but usually I get through mine in a few weeks.

The public health book I have says you can freeze fruits and veggies for 6-8months (I use vaccum freezer bags to keep it fresh), and meat can be frozen for 1-2months.

I have done it and I just put the food in ice cube trays, once frozen pop them out into a zip lock freezer bag. I believe fruits and veggies can be in the freezer up to 3 months and any meats 1 month. A good site to look at is wholesome baby food.com. Hope that helps!
