My 11 month old son will be starting a daycare 3 days a week soon. I am having a hard time picking one. I really hate the idea of just placing him in any daycare and I can't find any reviews online. I called a few places and I am going to see a few but I'd really love to hear opinions from Moms. Anyone have any recommendations for Allentown, PA? We are also a little strapped for cash so please don't suggest any of these places that are charging $210 a wk. Yikes!

Really?? Oh that's awesome! (and yes it is the one by Rita's LOL) It's soo much cheaper! Which would be great. The woman I spoke with did seem very nice and intelligent, , , but she wasn't the director. Which I guess is a good thing right? That must mean they must have good staff as well. Well at least that's what I hope! LOL I did look at some pictures on their webpage of the facility. It looks really nice.

I am looking for 3 days a wk! But 152 is too expensive for us. Most places are charging 135. . . I did find a place charging 105, Divine Learning Center. I'm going to check it out tomorrow. A little leery since they charge so much less than the other places. . .

I called Kindercare today and they seem amazing but they charge $152 for 3 days. So no way I can swing that one :( I am going to check out Lifespan tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!

What about the Kindercare learning centers... They look good... I contacted one a while ago for information and looked up some online reviews of them... they are a chain of learning day cares and I believe when I last checked last yr they were like $155 a week.

My oldest is now 13 but she used to go to Lifespan (N Cedar Crest). They have completely renovated since. It was really a nice place way back when. My twins now go to daycare in Macungie. They used to go to a place in Emmaus, Creation Play Station. Great place. It is not as visually pleasing as some of the other centers but the people are wonderful. There is no registration fee and you get 10 vacation days that you do not have to plan in advance. Not sure how far Emmaus is to where you work/live in Atown but it's not too far from Lehigh Street. Check it out. Tuition was about $150/wk.
