I can't find the right nipple for my 2 month old daughter.

I'm having the same problem. We even had a swallow study done because he has rivers flowing from the sides of his mouth while feeding (and yes we've tried the slowest flow nipples on planet earth). Been going back and forth between playtex drop-ins (slow-med) and avent #1&2. Its trial and error... what works one feeding is a disaster the next. Were just trying to stay positive and hoping its a phase.

I use the Even-flo bottles, yes they are pricy but come with a special air flow system that allows the air to be less as you are feeding, and they also come with step one 0-3 months, step 2 3-6 months and step 3 variable flow, fast flow nipples. they are the clear silicone nipples and are super soft! My daughter loves them, I have tried a few other bottles but they were too fast flow for her. She is currently, 3 months 3 weeks and eating 8 oz each feeding which takes her max 30 mins to eat. She likes to often take her time and enjoy her meal!

After I stopped breast feeding I use the NUK bottles and nipples. The larger NUK bottles have MEDIUM flow nipples. I can't find them in packs but I purchased the larger bottles and the flow is slightly faster without my daughter choking. I use AVENT as well. Number 1 AVENT nipple still seems to work well. About a 15 min feeding of 4-5 oz.

I use the AVENT bottles and size 2 nipples with my 3 month old. He eats 5 oz. in about 10 mins. These bottles are awesome! We have never had a problem with spitting up and he seems to love them.

i must have jinxed myself because now my son is on a nursing strike! He refuses to drink from a bottle, but will still eat his rice cereal. When someone is trying to give him the bottle he looks over at me with tears running down his face like his feelings are hurt and he just wants me....my doctor said that i just have to be strong and not give in and not to worry....he has such a hard time because i work 4 days a week and when he's not with me he throws a fit when it's time to eat and he has to use the bottle.

I use the playtex nipples.  They have two different kinds one that is brown and one that is clear.  The clear slow flow works faster than the brown one and my son has been using that until just recently we switch him to a medium flow one.

I had the problem that my son was getting his milk too fast and he ended up with too much air in his tummy as well. I ended up buying Dr Brown's glass bottles. they come with a tube that goes on the inside to let the bottle breathe and the nipples make him work a bit but not too much either. it takes 20mins to drink 6oz. and he almost never burps anymore and is not fussy either. I love them!!!! I'd highly recomend them, at babysrus

oh I forgot to mention that with my older daughter, we tried every nipple and bottle out there and she refused to use any of them. Then, she finally took one but woud only drink about 2 oz. I figured out that it wasn't the nipple but her going on strike because she just wanted me. That could also be the problem.

The soothie bottles have slow, medium and fast flow. my son LOVES the medium flow and LOVES the soothie nipple. (but won't take the soothie pacifier...lol)
