My son Luke was my second baby and he was a day early born on October 8th.

my daughter was 10 days early. she was due nov 10th and arrived to oct 31, weighing in 9lbs 2oz---good thing she didn't come on the due date or she would have been HUGE! it's interesting to see when babies come compared to when they are "supposed" to. i guess it lets us know once again that we are NOT in control.

My waters broke on my due date (10pm on the 7th), got into hospital at 11pm as had couple of contractions then everything stopped. Bubba was distressed, so went in for a emergency c-section at 12.15 and Rio arrived at around 1am (you know I don't actually remember what time exactly! Isn't that awful - that what being mum of 3 does to you!!)

Other 2 - E-J arrived on her due date after being induced due to HBP the day before, and Alice arrived on her due date (the one that the m/w and I had worked out - but a week late compared to the scan dates!!)

My waters broke the evening before my due date first time around....although I ended up being in labour for so long (28 hours!!) and had to go in for an emergency c-section so baby didnt arrive until early morning the day after my due date. Second time round was hoping for a VBAC and at 5 days overdue my daughter started to get distressed so another emergency c-section. My kids ended up with birthdays 5 days apart.....19th and 24th October : )

hi my son was 9 days late and I was in labour all day long without realising. Because I was induced with my daughter she was 11 days late, and had an epidural after 10 hours of labour I didn't know what to expect in natural labour! With my son I didn't realise I was in labour until my water broke and the contractions were excrutiating. The midwife told my husband he needed to get me to hospital quickly where we got stuck briefly in the lift (elevator) and then when I was examined was about 6-7cm dilated and he came along after 9 minutes of pushing labour was 2 hours exactly from water breaking. It was too quick for serious painkillers had to just have gas and air! He was 8lb 7ozs. Born on 4th Oct but due on 25th Sept!

My daughter was 6 days late she was due October 15th and born on October 21st. I was in Labor for like 43 hours.

My baby girl was born 1 week late. She gave be back labor for 4 days. I was in and out of the hospital 3 times. Then my dr. wanted to induce me but the night before (3rd trip back to the hospital) my water broke and she was born 3 hours later... 2 1/2 hours of labor and 1/2 hour of pushing... YAHOO After going through that experience I am glad I chose to go to a hospital with all the medicatioin help. I know I could not have gone through a natural deliveray. I am a wimp that way. Kendall my daughter was born Oct 16th and that was the happest day of my life and I have had 20 weeks of pleasaure being a mom! (So far!)

My daughter was born at 37 weeks. She was my first and weighed 6lb 4oz!

My son was due on 10/21 and he was born on 10/27. He was only 6 days late, but it seemed like eternity.

Parker was due 11/20 and came 10/19, my sisters birthday!! He was ALMOST born on the 20th, he was born at 11:59 and 15 seconds!!!

wow Dana, I hought I was late!! you must have been going nuts waiting for her.

and Lauren, thats cool that you all had kids the same year, and the pain isnt all that bad, you forget it the instant they give you your special one

My baby was born at 34 weeks + 5 days. My due date was Nov.30, and she came Oct.24th.

I'm kinda glad I didn't wait untill he came naturally because he was 9lbs 2oz, he probably would have been 10-11lbs and I probably wouldn't have been as lucky as I was (no rips)

just out of curiosity, any of you thinking of have a baby not in the hospital. I had my first with a midwife and it was a wonderful experience, painful, but great

i also had no rips. me and my 2 sisters all had babies in the same year and i was always a tiny girl and needed no stitches but they did. i could never do that. i was only 3 cm dilated when i got to the hospital and begged for the epideral til they gave me it. i cant handle pain at all

Was due on 15th October and in the end was meant to be induced on the 27th. I started labour on the morning of 25th and he was born at 21:21 that night with a c-section (he had a true knot in his cord it turned out).
