Lotions are breaking my baby out. Any advice?

Hi everyone, my daughter is 5 months old and has been diagnosed with eczema and seborrheic dermatitis on her body, not so much scalp. The pediatrician has prescribed several popular treatments including, Aquaphor, Aveeno baby for sensitive skin, Eucerin, and CeraVe. All of these help the dry skin, but after a day break her out in a terrible raised red rash. Before we head to the dermatologist, I was wondering if anyone had this problem or has a suggestion. Thank you.

My daughter also has the same thing. Revently I've made some changes that really helped.

#1 I always washed her clothes in Dreft and still do, but now I cut back on the amount that I put in the wash.

#2 I've been using the Aveeno bath wash that you mentioned and I make sure I rinse it off COMPLETELY.

#3 I grease her up with Aquaphore right after her bath. Locks in the moisture

#4 I only dress her in clothes that are 100% cotton. I found that the synthetic fibers from her bib rubbing on her face was causing breakouts.

hi.....i have had the same problem even with my third who is adopted, i dont know if you can find it in the states but the best solution i have found is aqueous cream. It hydrates and does not cause any reaction, the best thing is that you can use it for washing and moisturizing. you massage it into the skin and wash it off then after you dry her you can put some more on. its not greasy and i used it with my oldest daughter till she was 2.
