I was due a few days ago and am still waiting for the baby to arrive. Meanwhile, we have not settled on a name yet! Any good name ideas? Anyone else in this group have a late baby and still waiting?

Thanks for all your input.... I am being induced tomorrow morning (10 days over my due date)... and we're almost final on a name. Nothing like deciding at the last minute! I've loved seeing your names you have used or had in mind for the other gender, thanks again!

I was due last Thursday. It's soooo frustrating to see you due date pass you by. I'm scheduled to be induced on Sat., but hopefully it'll happen before that. We're going to name him Andrew Scot - it's my husband's first and middle names reversed.

I have 3 boys Cody Richard, Troy Anthony and Luke David Joseph. If they had been girls they would have been Madison Nicole, Jaclyn Greer, and Kara Helene.

definatly go for the induction because youve set a date baby should come out before hand i have 6 sisters and all the of them had atleast one birth that had to be induced but none of them got to the date set. if offered have an epidural i did in the end and im thankful for it coz not only was i in slow labour for 2 weeks and still ended up having 4 lots of prostine gels i then found out that he was laying spine to spine. i went from 3 cm dialated to 8cm in 3hrs he was then born 3hrs at 2:06 am so labour was only 5hrs. even tho i still felt him come out and the contractions at the end during those 5 hrs i didnt feel anything.

hi i was due on 4th of oct but because i had a terriable pregnancy and i had spd ( symphanis pelvis disfunction) the docs decided that they were going to induce me a week early ( on 29th sep)just so i didnt go over due and have complications but things didnt go eactly to plan i went into very very slow labour on the 19th os sep and still manaded to be induced on the 29th but it didnt work and i ended up going into natural labour on the eve of 2nd oct and had him on the 3rd a day before he was due,so i went thru all that agro for no reason at all. i hope everything goes ok for you and that the labour is easier than mine Good luck.

I was due on the 18th. They will induce me on the 28th, but since I am attempting a vbac I have decided that rather than induction we will be opting for a csection. My older son was a csec because he had a short cord so I don't want to risk stressing the fetus with a medical induction. So far have been trying the home remedies and am still hoping to have a vbac, but only time will tell!

I was induced a week early with my daughtr on the 6th. And I have to say hers was my easiest labor and delivery. i got the cervadil and started having contractions but not adequate ones. in the morning I got my epidural than they broke my water and started the pitocin around 9:30. She was born at 1:30 after 1/2 a push. The nurse had to hold he in while they got the dr who was in another room. I don't know if you are planning on an epidural or not but I highly recommend them. i labored 21 hours with out one with my first. After I got the epidural I was finally able to relax and he was birn two hours later. I was only dialated to 4 before I got it.,

Well, we do know what we're having, but we're keeping it a secret from our friends (and since I have friends in this Circle of Mom's, I'm not prepared to blow the surprise after waiting so long)! Meanwhile, I was due on the 19th and just this morning we basically set the date for the induction for Tuesday night/Wednesday--that means I should give birth on the 29th===a full 10 days over! I wish my baby would come out naturally without the assistance of cervidil or anything like that. As for the name, we're still are looking for suggestions! :-)

My second was a week late. It is a bummer. We were scheduled to be induced at 10:30 in the morning and he was born at 9:30, talk about waiting until the last minute.! We just named our daughter Sydni Aletha we also have Byron Patrick and Cameron Lee. The middle names are all family names. Hang in there I know it can be tiring.

Do you know if you are having a boy or girl or will it be a surprise?
