Did anyone use a belly wrap, belly bandit, waist cincher after giving birth? And if so, did it work and how long did you wear it?

I bought the belly bandit a few weeks before givng birth. I only wore it for a few days post pardum because I ended up having a C-section and it was really uncomfortable. It rubbed on my incision. My sister borrowed it after she had her baby and wore it pretty much 24/7 for a few weeks. She seemed to like it although she didn't notice a huge difference in how fast her uterus shrunk.
